"Ok....I'll try." Aox grasps the bow lightly with his mechanical hand and began to focus his mana through his left hand. He very still, trying to concentrate of creating a force rather than a light. Slowly the arrow began to form, its length shimmered with a strange light and Aox's unique mana began to form it. Finally it formed completely and Aox's eyes snapped open. He released it with a grunt and watched it soar to the target.

Shards of metal dug into Lo-Kag's stony skin from where the Dwarfs axe had broken his armor. The wounds from the cuts oozed out blood as Lo-Kag forced his body to keep up the offensive. His club was not much use against this opponent except to occasionally block an incoming swing. Lo-Kag swung out with his fist and followed up with his knee and finally made contact. The Dwarf was open as he fell back onto the ground and Lo-Kag switched his club to his left hand which currently had more feeling in it. The Club arced back and then launched forward towards Drav.

The forcestrike hits the target as another student hands Ritsuko another bow. Ritsuko takes the bow and leaves to practice her archery and Miko smiles at Aox, "Ok, good job. That was a good forcestrike. Just remember how you did that and you'll have the 3 basic combat spells of these lands memorized: the lightstrike, the stunstrike, and the forcestrike. That will be all for today. If you want to continue practicing the three strikes, then go ahead. Do you have any other questions?"

The arching club connects solidly with Drav. His hand loosens on his axe. The world seems to fade and get dark.
He falls to the ground. ------------------------------- Maggie wasn't stupid. Hags had to be smart in order to survive each others schemes. The old crone took exactly three seconds to guess how likely it was that she could make it back to shore with the damned candle. She wasn't even certain that it would relight if she extinguished it. Green fought with self-preservation. And lost. Maggie hocked the candle off into the distance, wincing as it plopped beneath the waves. She began swimming off towards home, thoroughly annoyed. The candle sunk. down down down. It landed in the sandy bottom of the shallows, sending up a small dirt cloud and attracting the attention of a local school of wandering Sea Folk. They approach cautiously, swimming around it. A few brave souls would dart forward, only to retreat. Then, a single person swam towards the strange object. A female with the typical dappled blue-green skin and androgynous frame of her kin. A small orange octopus clung to her shoulder as she examined the object with her large dark eyes. With great caution, she reached out to lift it up.

"No, I think I've got it. Thank you for the lesson, I greatly appreciate it." Aox preforms an odd gesture. He salutes Miko by pressing his wrist to his forehead with a slight bow. It was a sign of thanks and respect amongst Durhians.

"Now, I think Honored Guest Suna wished to watch me practice the Craft."

"Ha. You're good for a lumbering giant." He said in a jesting tone, shaking Lo-Kag's hand with as much vigor as he can muster.

"Alright, then," Miko replies. "I will return to my duties as student president. There are... consequences I need to mete out to two recalcitrant students."
Miko leaves the archery range, leaving Aox with several students around him practicing their archery including Ritsuko.

Dermalk, despite its atrocious air and the cloud of fear the hung over it, had few citizens who were willing to leave. They were far to frightened of what might happen should they leave the safety of their homes. However, they're were a meager few who braved the unknown realm outside their crumbling houses and managed to leave the village. These few would travel far away from Dermalk and the nightmares that plagued it and took up residence as far away as possible, usually in different lands.
And so word of Dermalk's fearful airs began to spread.

"I may. You fight a good fight."
--------------------------- Behind the candle-bearer, Sea Folk chattered amongst themselves. A young child circled the female and inquired in a shrill voice, "What is it, Seythr Bisera?" "I do not know, young one." Bisera told him softly as the octopus on her shoulder began to examine the candle. "Perhaps we should ask a Great One. I believe Pazo is nearby." Around her, the others nodded among themselves and began to call out for Pazo. Their calls went far in the water.. Pazo awoke. He, a giant shark, swam towards them to see what the commotion was about.

"Pazo!" Several of the Sea Folk shout his name and crowd around him. The Great Shark chuckles and greats them.
Then Bisera approaches with the candle in hand. "Pazo, we were hoping your could identify this.. item." She says, pulling it away from her octopus to show it to him. Darkness radiates from it in a flash.
