Crav was mentally exhausted from the day. Physically he was fine, he was a god after all. There was just so many things going on in the world. So much activity. it was clear to him that he would need help to keep track of it all. Crav contemplated the dilemma for some time as he strolled about. Finally he came to stand beneath Castle Von Trapt.

Gazing up at it, Crav had an epiphany. Architecture, it was such a craft it its own right it should have a god to govern it. There was also the added benefit of that god being able to help him keep track of world events. It was a win-win situation,

With that Crav began to let his divine power seep into the sand around him. The sand began to rise into the air around him, creating a mist of silica. Then the sand compressed into a single point all at once. The result was a huge ball of super compacted sand, which began to crack. Suddenly the ball shattered to reveal a young female who appeared to be in her lat 20's. She wore very simple cloth clothing and wore a pair of thin glasses.

The new goddess glanced around for a second before looking at Crav. "Well Hey there!" she exclaimed cheerily.

Crav smiled, this was going to work out just fine.

Taro looks at Thorn, "Have you finished your preparations so that we can start?"

[Philote]

Thorn began mentally preparing for the match ahead, and his body began to change. As a Shifter, he was able to change shape much faster, and being a Druid Shifter only increased the ease for him, but taking his time with the change would only serve to improve the result.

His face changed to be more animal like. Fangs, snout, and ears growing out. Different furs, scales and feathers covered his body. His muscle mass grew along side the changes. Thorn was becoming the Primal Predator, a being that had a connection with the predators of the world.

Tier One: Primal Predator

Gilgamesh stayed at the arena's side. He would watch the mortals to make sure that they did not pose a problem for the match. Seeing that the two heroes appeared to be ready to begin their match, Gilgamesh signaled for the match to begin himself.

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"No, that will be all." he said, closing up his little notebook. "Now, all that's left is this match and to interview the winner, then I cam compile everything and ship it out to be printed."

Suddenly, a idea enters his mind. "Miss Kagehana, I can only assume that your people know of my newspaper because of it's circulation in the free cities. But, I could have it shipped in via pigeon directly to major Youkai and Demon population centers if I had permission."

Taro starts by waiting for his opponent to make the first move. This match would be decided on who could use their abilities better.

Kagehana: "You would need to talk to Mikoto about directly shipping them to the major cities. She's the Avatar. I'm merely a hero who goes around fighting those who need to be fought."

[Zaleramancer]

"Mina doesn't normally let much into her wonderful isolated country. Most other gods can't even enter it."

Gant said as she guzzled her brandy, staring at the action in the arena.

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"And what are you?" Mileena asks, pleasantly. Pessimal winces. He had hoped to dance around that issue for a little longer. Oh well, might as well roll with it.

"Yes, Miss Gant, I was just wondering that myself? Are you a god?"

[Zaleramancer]

"No one in particular. Just a nosy woman of means. I have informants and contacts everywhere, so there's little that happens that I don't know about." She said. "I don't really care for Mina. She's effectively closed her lands off. People are hardly going to flock to a place where their gods can not follow. Of course, she has her own extensive group of exotic beings to worship her, so I suppose she doesn't notice."

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Kagehana: "Interesting. A network of informants. Whether or not people will migrate without their gods is up to them and some will probably migrate anyways. Although, you are misinformed slightly. The High Gods can still get into Lady Mina's lands, they just can't bring any of the weaker gods unless they recieve permission."

[Zaleramancer]

"That strikes me as suicidal."  She said with a snort.

Kagehana: "It's only suicidal if you want it to be. If the god goes in peacefully and leave when requested then it should be fine. If they disregard being told to leave though that's when things will possibly get violent."

[Philote]

Thorn crouches down, his clawed gauntlets gleaming in the moonlight. He locked eyes with his opponent and then took off, like a predator hunting his prey, on all four of his limbs. Reaching Taro with his unnatural speed, Thorn raises his claws in an upward strike towards his opponent.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Right before the claws hit him, Taro bursts apart into a group of bats composed of blood which fly to the other side of the arena before reforming back as Taro. He'd need to watch out for anything like that again. He pulls out a knife and cuts his wrist, letting some blood flow out and form into a wolf composed of blood before stopping the blood loss. He then had the wolf charge at Thorn and distract him as Taro worked to regain blood quickly and create more blood wolves.

[Philote]

Thorn tracks the bats through the air with his eyes and sees Taro create a wolf. He crouches down again, ready to rip the wolf apart. A lesser predator would be no match for him in his current state. Thorn took off running again to take out the wolf on his way to Taro.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

The blood wolf runs at Thorn and slashes with its claws to take out Thorn's eyes. Meanwhile, Taro cuts himself again to create 5 bats composed of blood from his blood before stopping the blood loss again. The bats fly at Thorn to blind and delay him as Taro takes out a vial of blood and gulps down the contents.

[Philote]

Thorn deftly dodges around the blood wolf's claws and brings his own up into the blood wolf's stomach and across through its throat.

He does not stop to deal with the bats, but instead charges through them, swiping to keep them at bay as he closes in on the hero with his claws.

Taro doesn't move away, just gulping down another vial of blood as Thorn comes closer. Before Thorn gets too close though, the bats fly in front of his eyes, attempt to land on top of his snout and attempt landing manuveurs on his ears trying to give time for the blood wolf to come back at Thorn with a vengeance. Composed entirely of blood, the slashes to its stomach and throat had been mere inconveniences.

[Philote]

The blood bats temporarily blind Thorn's eyes, but there are more senses than sight that a predator can rely on. Thorn's ears feel the beating of Taro's heart, and thorn's nose picks up the scent of blood traveling around him, alerting him to the wolf's return.

For now, Thorn was closer to Taro, and he would take the chance to attack before the wolf drew closer. He leaped forwards, and thrust his claws out in the direction of Taro's beating heart, hoping to strike before Taro dispersed again.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Taro sees the claws comng at his heart and moves to the side quickly to avoid them, but still gets scratched on his arm. He stops the flow of blood but not before enough blood flows out to form a butterfly composed of blood which proceeds to attempt to cover Thorn's nose. Taro attempts to move as far from Thorn as the wolf continues its charge at Thorn.
