We've left the arguement, were starting a tournament of heroes. Did you see the question about you and Marv crafting the prize? |

Yes, but you should know Uburra-Namall just provides the gems; Crav does all the actual work.

All I want is for you to stop the arguments. I just want the arguing to stop. It tears me up inside, I do not enjoy it. I only continue it because you act so arrogant when you disagree. If you would just make your point with out acting superior and claiming you are better in any way this wouldn't be a problem.
It just has to stop. I just want it to stop.

Well, it's getting late in this corner of the world, I'm turning in. Don't start the tournament without me.
A few final thoughts. Maybe we can work together to cause alter terrain inside the arena to keep the fights interesting, and nuetral to both opponents. |

I'm not trying to be arrogant, and honestly every time you suddenly just state I'm wrong it feels as if someones trying to drive me into the ground with a hammer so I claw upwards. Honestly, I'd rather us all get along and save the fighting for Rp.

That would be a good idea. If Phi does hold it in the Nameless City than I'm sure that place has an arena. I built that place to be enjoyed by mortals, after all.

Well, in all honesty, I think we could all use some attitude adjustment.
Me, Jester and you have all said things that could be taken as offensive at one point of this argument or another, regardless of what was actually meant. And again, we have to be aware of each person's attitude. Knowing the headstrong nature of each person involved, I should have known better than to get involved or to take sides. I apologize for not being impartial and working to overcome the solution, instead becoming part of the problem. I just hope that over time, our reaction to conflict can improve and improve until civil conflict resolution becomes habit.

I'm on the verge of tears over here. I'm not ashamed to admit that. I'm just so sick of arguing.

Well, in that case, my only question is 'why does it bother you so deeply?'.
I mean, even if you perceive Jester's statements as arrogant or rude, why do you put so much weight into it? Every time we get into these arguments, we always end up talking about how neither side intended to harm the other, and we all had good intentions (which is true), so if each of us has good intentions, and we REALIZE both our own good intentions and those of others, why can't we be compassionate enough to each other's personalities and feelings to come to an agreement? Even if the agreement is just to disagree?

Well, perhaps it was not something here that was bothering you.
Perhaps you needed catharsis from some other situation in your life. In which case, I'm glad it all happened, because sometimes we just need to let it all out. And it's good to get all your grievances out in the open, in any event, so long as it turns out well in the end. Let's just...be careful not to let it escalate so intensely, and so quickly next time, huh? I think each of us could work on it.

Let's stop this discussion.
Here's a question from my homework: Do you think that people use drugs to heighten consciousness or to escape from it? Explain your answer. Since you stated you have a psych major, Wulf, I figured that I could get your opinion on this. Plus, it has its other uses as well.

The discussion stopped already, Ms. Janey-Come-Lately.
And I'm still contemplating a psych major, so I don't know just how much help I can be, but I'll try. I believe that people use drugs to escape not only CONSCIOUSNESS, but COGNITION. If they don't want pleasure, drugs users often at least want to escape from some pain they are encountering in their life. Other reasons exist, but that occurs to me as the most common reason (coming only after plain out mindless conformity to peer pressure).
