Bazul nodded in response.
"Thank you, Gracious Watchman. Shall I guide you two to land?"
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

'No need for me, I'd like to see more of this world. Familiarize myself with the terrain. So, Bazul, Gil, I look forward to our next meeting."
The Watchman points himself due south and is off in a moment. It was time to see the other civilization of this world.

"I'll be returning."
-------------------------- After leaving Bazul, I return to my tribe as night falls on my island. As I near my tribe I notice a woman and speak to her. "Who may you be?"
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

The whole of the Five Isles shook with the Hag-Queen's laughter.
That tiny squabble had been the most hilarious thing she'd seen in centuries! Lucky for her, the scrying mirror let her watch the action unfold. It was her deepest hope more chaos would unfold. In the mean time, Zaya tuned her mirror to observe the happenings of her Fish-Folk. Most merely drifted through the swamp, living a wandering life-style. A few others had made underwater huts and even small hamlets. The Dark Goddess smiled at their progress, and made a mental note to direct them in the art of subduing weapons. They would need that knowledge.. later.

I reply to the new god as I unfurl my wings to stretch, "I am Mina, Goddess of Demons and Youkai. I saw the deaths of your ... creatures and decided to find out who their creator was. I presume that you are their creator?"

"Maker of Heroes? That is an... interesting title. You mentioned 'races'. How many other races have you created?"

"Goliaths sound quite amusing and yes, I reside over demons, but all the demons I have created so far are imps, incubbi, and succubi. They are my chosen races. Thou shalt not harm them or invoke my wrath. I would like to know though whether you have met other gods and goddesses in this world."

I contemplate revealing the information, then say "One was named Waverider, a territorial being of the north sea and the other was known as The Watchman, a defender of the weak."

"Waverider I've met, but the Watcher, I will have to meet some time. In return for your information on the gods you've met, I will tell you that I did meet a god named Crav. I believe he said he was a God of... what was it again?"
Mina thinks for a little while before continuing, "Ah! I think Crav said he was God of Natural Disasters, but I may be wrong. Yes, I have my own territory. Do you desire to visit it?"

"I'll have to be as wary of him as I should be of you" I say "But if you're offering to show me your land, then I would like to see it. It would be better for me to know what I am dealing with, since you have seen my races, but I will not interfere with them for now."

I instead prefer to run, with quickened speed. Running over the waters themselves as we cross from my island to hers, avoiding the northern waters.

The Watchman walked amongst the Durhian, observing and admiring their work. They where an industrious group, he had to say. He had not been their when his world had been created and so had never seen the march of progress. He found he enjoyed it, and he enjoyed the Durhian.
He had inquire about their god, and was told of the alter of prayer. He thanked the man, and traveled on. "Well", he thought, looking at the statue, "That's a bit ostentatious." He climbed the stairs to the alter, passing pilgrims and worshipers along the way. Ostentatious as it was, these people seemed to love it. Reaching the top, he stood before the alter, surrounded by others praying and requesting assistance. "Hello friend Crav, God of Crafting and Industry. I'm The Watchman, one of your new brothers. I am standing at your alter and request that we meet. No particular business." The people in the temple where now giving him odd looks. It was good that they where here. A peoples reaction to them can tell you a lot about a ruler.

Mik Hael sat in the cener of the barren landscape of the northern continent observing the actions of the other gods silently. "It is time for me to begin to make my move." He raised his hands and the a chain of mountains spread around the entire continent reaching towards the sky and obscuring the horizons, as grass and trees began to sprout across the continent creating a fertile glade.
He thrust his right hand into the ground and his left into the sky. From the right, sprout forth a giant tree from which golden drops of light began to condense and form into small creatures. From the left, the shadows of the land began to converge into a single point, before taking the shape of a small skeletal hollow eyed child. "Greetings my friends, from this day forward the two of you shall be known as the Endreakians, and the Graeciourum. Endreakians your task is to spread and grow across this land absorbing the energies, knowledge, and skills of this world in order to create. Graeciourum your task is to go across this world as my vassal, and devour the energy and spirits of the beings in this world to propogate your form. You will work as my eyes and ears. Now come." I say to the Greaciourum and four of the Endreakians, "It's time for us to depart." I manifest into a physical form and begin to make my way over o the other continents to view the rest of this land.
