I thought your clone blade just allowed her to learn the fighting skills of others, not gain all their powers as well.

The Clone-Blade can copy any blade-based technique of any oponent beaten by any wielder of the Clone-Blade. Even if it is limited though to what Kagehana's seen it is still very powerful. And Kagehana's beaten Nayotake in battle, so since most of Nayotake's techniques are based off of the Hydra Dagger which is a blade, the techniques can be copied. And it is draining some of Kagehana's mana while it's used.

So it allows her to create the daggers of Nayotake and use Tirion's blades of light even if those are not a blade ability?

Oh yes, its a little gift from Crav. Though if all goes well, a miracle or two might make it slightly less exclusive.

Both of those are blade-based in my opinion. The Hydra Dagger because all daggers have blades and the blades of light because they are blades themselves. The multicolored arcs of light as well because as I recall they were used by having Tirion swing his sword and are thus blade-based because a sword has a blade.

So because Tirion had a blade she gets all of his abilities? At least make them weaker versions.

I think Tirion's special spectral powers should remain exclusive to him as well.

Neither Kagehana nor the Clone-Blade gets Tirion's abilities. It's the techniques that are copied, not the powers. And if you don't like it, then never have anyone fight a wielder of the Clone-Blade, because each time the wielder wins against an opponent, they can then copy the techniques they saw in that battle with the Clone-Blade. As for making it weaker, which do you think is stronger: an Artifact or a hero?

Those are Tirions abilities

At the moment the blade allows her to be an exact copy of my hero plus all her own powers without any repercussions. The power of one artifact couldn't mimic the powers of every hero with a sword.

The spectral powers are Tirion's unique power, not some blade technique for her to copy.

The Clone-Blade is an Arifact made to copy though. It's power is based on defeating an opponent and adding their powers to one's own (Tetsusaiga from Inuyasha). Andif you don't like my Clone-Blade, then you shouldn't have made your Forge the way you did. At least mine doesn't give a bonus to Divine Combat.

I think Phi's point is that you're copying an ability that is only loosely associated with a sword and belongs purely to his hero. You wouldn't like it if someone made a character that had all your heroes special abilities plus their own.

Kagehana gets all the abilities from two other heroes including ones that came from an artifact all from one artifact.

She can copy without becoming exactly what Tirion is.

Even if it's only loosely associated with a sword, so long as it is associated with a blade of any kind, it is the Clone-Blade's power to copy the techniques and it's not like I even know what 'Spectral Slayer' can fully do. And I'm only copying techniques, not powers. If he wants to argue that the Clone-Blade is copying powers, then he needs to find a point in which it copied the actual powers of Tirion when as far as I can tell, it's only copied techniques which is within the Clone-Blade's powers.

A technique is something anyone can learn. A power cannot be learned and is ussually specfic to a person or group. Since Phis heros is the only one would could do it it is a power of his, not a technique.

The way it looks to me right now is as a technique that creates an arc of light with an elemental effect. Unless he can refute that, it's a technique that someone can learn.

@Phi: The Hydra Dagger's effect is copyable as a spell that multiplies things or creates things temporarily. Or with a psionic power that does the same. Can you refute that?

His technique would be how he sent his mana out in the form of blades.  

His power is the fact that they were made out of the spectral energy.

Also, by your logic, just because he holds a sword, she can do equally everything he can.

Technique:
A way of carrying out a particular task, esp. the execution or performance of an artistic work or a scientific procedure

So you could copy how he swung the blade or how he used man, but the core power cannot be copied because it is not a technique.

Unless you define what 'spectral energy' is I can only assume that it's normal energy with special colors and thus copiable. And no, Kagehana can't do everything Tirion can. If he had created a shield out of light, she wouldn't be able to do that if it wasn't blade-based.

Marv is correct. The Spectral energy is what made his multi-colored random element abilities, she does not have his knowledge of how to use it.
