If you're allowed to complain about unfairness, then so am I. Your overuse of inherent actions, while technically within the rules is very much a gross misuse of power. My complaining IS me taking action, I am making my voice heard in an effort to change something I see as unfair.

I am not a player. Strength is not my primary concern. I DO NOT WANT TO WIN THE UNWINNABLE.
I want to make a story. A history. A mythology. A setting. I want that one this is over, It can be used as a back-ground to another roleplay. The problem is if your people are uber-powerful, then no one will be able to use them in the successive story. They'd make any challenges for the story irrelevant. Pointless. Easily fixed. And people still treat it like a game to be won just because of the rules! AGAOGHAOEHAGB)AAUJEOH GAU!

Inherits were intended to allow you to be powerful without expending motes.
You expect godly beings to be able to do powerful things easily. Like make showers of petals, or call rain, or make rings of gold, or animals.. I just wanted there to be a degree of innate power in them. Looks like I blew it, big-time...

You didn't blow, those who abused it blew it. You never made a bad rule, people just keep bending them to try and "win"

I agree with what you had in mind, and I agree with what you said before about having any action after the first inherent action cost motes. Dryad took that as though she could do it everyday repeatedly for free, but I took it as that after the first inherent you would have to pay.

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

It's only a gross misuse if it causes the rules to be changed like how the speed at which I and Phi gained stuff under the previous rules did, but even then you still need to get the rules changed for it tobe taking action as far as I'm concerned if it doesn't then it was just pointless crying basically.
@Phi: If that's the way you think about Inherents and non-Inherents, then fine. I will still consider them equal regardless.

Your condescending attitude does not make me any more sympathetic to your case. You are so quick to cry out when someone does something you think is unfair, but you refuse to recognize when you are being just as obtuse.
If you really think that overpowering all your races to a point that they could wipe out armies is a good idea, then fine. I still think it is a gross misuse of a free action.

You can, technically, do a miracle everyday for free.
I just never thought everyone would take that and run with it like this.. I should let someone else GM this. I'm worthless.

Don't be rude Dryad
We could just go with the rule that everything is equal, combat seems to be the only thing that is causing everybody issues.

But they can't. Not really.
Sure, there are rules for what gods can do to one another. But no such rules exist for mortals. The number of different powers don't matter. Essentially, all mortal races are on the same level of power because those powers do not control how others react to them.

These rules allow people to gain more than others simply by using their motes, Me and Dryad are the only ones to make the effort to use all our motes making us the strongest. Even on items that don't give power such as Planes and Domains, we have more simply because we use our motes.
I can't help that nobody else is using their motes on anything. The only way to fix this is to completely remove combat so that even though I have more I would still be considered equal with the others.

So It isn't something we can fix unless everyone begins using all their motes.
