Oops. Mixed up your ava with Phi's on my DSi. The pictures get so small on the screen in the reply screen it's hard to differentiate. But yes, I agree with you that gods should only affect their own world.

@Zale: That example of the domains disappearing from the world is scary.

Gods in this are more or less global.

Domains are unique for that world. There's only one god of fire on a world, for example.

Other worlds, however..

There are browsers with built in spell-check.

I use them all the time.

I don't think we should be counting NB or outside Myths like Zeus in the LoC RP.

We have to decide if our people are the only ones with their specific domains. Like Gilgamesh and his people would be the only ones with the domains of Conflict. Or would there be Spirits in alternate worlds that would be Conflict also?
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

It's supposed to be.

Gods are made to be eternal. Their death is a horrible thing, something that affects the entire world it happens on.

And the more domains they have.. the more things that fade.

Well it's already cannon that most of us have existed before the creation of the world itself, so perhaps there are simply several thousand or even milllions of god's moving out from a central reality. After that reality dies, they move out, the overs becomming the new overs of a new reality, as the minor gods become overs of there own as well, and so on and so on, until infinitum.

The Omni insures that no two gods with the same domain exist in the same world.

Things would get nasty otherwise.

This is the first world for Gilgamesh though.

And what would that mean for when people gain a new domain? Would the spirit of that domain have to die before somebody could gain it?

So, in short:

A god gets hurt: Horribad fluctuations of their domain, lots of chaos and death, natural disasters and suchlike.

A god Dies: Domain gets irreparably broken, slowly stops working.

Yes.

Domains react to the current condition of their God.

Of course, they only get into new world if they avoid fading away, going insane, or getting snatched up and eaten in the long dark between worlds.

That they pick up the vacant position for that world.

Yeah.

That's why the ones that make it are the ones that hoarded power in order to insure their safe journey.

Or were dumped there by the Omni.
