That was the idea. I'd be fine if it hadn't had any mechanical effect given the story would be over at that point.

Due to the way posts work (And depending on how Planes work) I'd have at least a single post to slip away
Anyone want to vote on this being the official end of the Beta and bringing it into the Second Age?
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

You know what, ass the island from the beta. Somewhere down there to the side of the tiny island under Alabastra.
Just make it a crater strewn, blighted, smoking wreck.

Didn't we already vote to end it? I'm pretty sure we did.

@Wulf: Let this Dash die, then you come in with your Pantheon and resurrect her as Dasha with all the modifications that you want.

It would still be ended if we use Vault's end, but this way we still have story elements to bring over to the Second Age.
We don't have to narrate it, just have Vault use it when the next age starts.

Nah. Operation Deathtree probably wouldn't have worked anyway.
Besides, someome wanting to use something from the beta supercedes hypotheticals.

It is the most interesting ending we have so far though. Plus it works for me since I was more interested in Po's creations than Po himself.
Do you already have a new Spirit to bring into the Second Age besides Mar?

I was going to do that anyhow. She dies from being defeated by Cotha's pantheon. Though, despite not being from the current world Gammara, her soul is bound to it after death. And she has a heart that makes her of automatic interest to Uburra-Namall. Not only is she a fiery free spirit, but she was a demi-goddess!
So, she's offered the chance to be reborn into Uburra-Namall's pantheon, but at the expense of her past name, her past domain and her past servants. She has to give all those over, and trust them to the Fair One, to do with as she pleases. In return, she gets patronage, protection and the worshipers she sought all along.

Indeed. I vote for that; a blighted no man's land, incapable of sustaining life or bearing fruit in any capacity. A good point of interest there, aside from recalling stories from the Beta, would probably be the folks who want to wrest control of it. Namely Jissei and folks from Jester's pantheon.
As for location, I trust Marv's judgment.

Well if that's the case then, unless anyone has any objections, we can use that endgame for the island like Phi wanted.
Arbor Tyrant. I'd like to point out that this would also bring Eternal Golden Bloom into the world. Just, if anyone has a problem with that....

Though, if we're giving up on the Beta, then the Eternal Golden Bloom and the Arbor Tyrant will simply have to be referenced in the RP, until/unless brought in proper. Otherwise, we're simply adding to a story (the Beta) that we already basically know the end to, and that nearly nobody wants to continue, even a post longer.

I was only reveling my endgame because I though the beta was over.

It is over.
Hm...perhaps I just misunderstood your reason for bringing up those ideas. Never mind, carry on.

Oh, I had a cool Idea: maybe she's all messed up!
Dash could have been straight up killed, and that's why Uburra-Namall finds her essence floating in the breeze. But all the others? Mar has them. She has all the domain, but is some sort of screwed up amalgam of every god on that island. With a bug arm, and a, like, a khopesh for a leg and stuff like that. And she's completely insane, unintelligible, rambling. The Island is a blighted wasteland, everything is dead except a huge oak tree covered in nooses like a willow, some with long dead skelitons hanging from them. Just a real horrorshow in general.

Arathet
Demi-Goddess Domain: Art (Poetry, Music, etc) Power: 0 Precision: 1 Perception: 1 Presence: 2 Muse's Zenith (2) As the goddess of art, Arathet naturally has immediate access to her mother, Uburra-Namall's, Plane of Creativity. Though, she also has the ability to grant others' astral-projective access to this realm, by touch, word or thought. In doing so, affected subjects can experience presence within that realm through all senses they possess, and can even receive insight from denizens of that realm, that they encounter. However, any entity, force or influence the astral body encounters within, good or bad, also affects the physical body. =Tool of Office= Beauty's Blade is a dagger that allows the user to cut through any non-divine thing viewed as artless, tasteless or physically ugly, at will. When Arathet grows older (and grows in power), it will also gain the power to grow into any kind of sword that the user desires. It is so powerful, it can even destroy ugly voices, ugly words or ugly, distasteful music, at the user's whim. Naturally, it is lovely to look at. (What changes need to be made to bring this profile up to speed for the Second Age?)

Just another example of combining gods being a bad idea.
Also, it makes it so I can't use that plan again. Besides, we don't have a "Mordor" biome yet. Little firefly dudes can fly, so they can probably make it away. Eternal Autumn is still accessible from the few trees that are left. Oh, what if everything not dead. What if the races are still alive, but in warped forms. Oh, and there are giant crab monsters living along the cost, can't forget that. I hereby dub this land Crapolla, the place no one wants to live.
