I'd think that they'd have a small number of geokinetics, psammokinetics, crystallokinetics and metallokinetics mixed in, some of whom would be miners, prospectors and jewel vendors (while the other miners and prospectors would be normal/powerless)
Might even want some supers who can sense information about the earth/soil/metals/gems/crystals, or some who could crystal-read to see the future/past/etc. Just a suggestion.
