I was going to mention that, actually. In lieu of Gilgamesh or any gods to represent the races of Gil, one of them or more should really be present at the table.

About as far as it is on the map, in the exact middle of the continent.

That map gets a few things wrong, though. There are five rivers flowing out connecting the ocean to the worlds biggest lake the city is built around. The Glass Dome sits in the middle of said lake. Each river, coincidentally enough, is wide and deep enough to be comfortably travailed by, lets say, an enormous shark.

This seems like the sort of thing that the Watchman would have sent out notice for. He'd want someone there in Gils place.
