"Be careful of traps. Disturbing the water of moving the weapons might summon something unpleasant" Willow suggests
He looks up, examining just how much water is floating above them all and how much of a problem it would be if it all came falling down.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

As the water's part, the words are revealed. Engraved into the stone plate are two words:
"a different"

"A different what? Or maybe it's something else, like an anagram. Those are popular in all the old stories. Or maybe..."
(Is there anything hidden behind the other waterfalls, or is it just this one?)

Looking around more closely at the other three waterfalls, Star can make out other stone plates hidden behind them.
(to save some steps I will assume you check them) The other plates read: "Take" "of view" "point"

Willow turns his head, trying to make his view match the orientation of the water and the pool.

Star suddenly falls off the ceiling and lands on the ground near the pool of water containing the stone. Above him his companions continue to walk upside down on the the ceiling.
Praosk, however slides down the wall and lands next to one of the waterfalls which now appears to be flowing sideways across the floor. Looking up he can see Star walking horizontally along the the wall he had previously assumed was up and the others on the opposite wall he had previously assumed was down. (This might get confusing...)

Star looks around at the sudden inversion of gravity. "I get it." he says brightly. "Willow," he calls to the new ceiling. "Watch my armor, I left it down there."
Then he walks over to the stone "hanging" from the ceiling, eying the sword. In most stories swords pulled from stones were magic and you became a king for drawing one. Even if it wasn't magic, it was still a good enough sword to be stabbed into a stone. Star placed Luck on the ground (ceiling?), gripped the swords hilt with both hands, and pulled.

"Willow. So, that's your name. Pardon my lack of manners for failing to properly introduce myself. I'm Praosk. Might I suggest we all keep our distance from one another in case this little riddle/experiment goes sideways? One fireball could take us all out if we get too close."

"Yes, I agree. I'm still worried about that sword Star has his eyes on" Willow says.
Looking around the room, Willow checks what other exits exist in this room.

------------------------------------------------------------------- Star: The sword pulls free smoothly. It is rather awkward to hold as it pulls towards what is now the ceiling. It seems it's gravity is not reversed. - Ability: Never Dull The daggers suddenly slip free as well and clatter to the ceiling (ground). - Ability: Cancels Immunities - Ability: See Bones ------------------------------------------------------------------- Willow: Willow sees another exit across the room. However, it is to high to reach from where he stands now.

Willow checks the daggers with his tag and then replaces the tag within his iron bangle.
"These daggers will most likely be more useful in someones hands besides my own" he says after explaining their properties. "I'll check that sword for you as well Star when we are on the same ground together" he says. (So that the information automatically goes to Vault without his needing to ask) Imitating Star, Willow changes orientation so that he is inline with the exit. "We should depart before our good fortune here runs out."

"Hold on. I have to get my armor." Star says, and he drops back down to the floor., retrieving his armor and the two slime hats left on the ground. Then, almost as an afterthought, he picks one of the rooms flowers and weaves the stem through his armor straps so as to carry this sweet smell with him, if only for a little while.
He then flips back up onto the ceiling and shoves his old sword into the stone. Perhaps, after resting here for a few years, it to would be rendered magical. He gives a few practice swings with the new one and, finding it most satisfactory, shoulders it and walks toward the room exit.

"Come, friends. Gather up the unclaimed daggers and let's be off."
/Praosk takes another long, scrutinizing glance around the room, looking for anything else that might've been missed. If nothing else presents itself, he'll orient himself to be standing on the "proper" ground with the exit and move toward it/ /while scanning the room, Praosk moves slightly in the direction of WIllow/ "Friend Willow, with your affinity for nature, can you tell us anything about the moss on the rocks? With our not knowing where our next meal will come from, it would be prudent to scout for any available food source."

Xlprq curses his hesitation. He had watched the others reorienting themselves to the strange flow of things, but was far too wary of another trap, or invasion, to do so himself.
He muttered scolding words to himself, as he caught up with the rest of the group. There was no way he could lay claim to this lot of loot, and feel good about it. (I really am sorry I took so long to get back to this, folks. I'll try to be more involved from now on...)

As we're preparing to go to the next room, Praosk faces Xlprq and says, "You were a mite handy in our last encounter with those daggers of yours. Perhaps you might consider an upgrade, Friend"?
"By the way, I never got the honor of your name. I'm Praosk."

"And I'm Bob. Not much to it, really. X-l-p-r-q; just plain old Bob. Doesn't even stand for anything." Xlprq offers his hand for a shake, and then the thought hits him, "You know what, Praosk? I am in need of an upgrade. Has anyone claimed that bony dagger? I think I'd like to make myself a bit more deadly in combat. If nothing else, it ought to help my confidence."

"Just take both, you're the only one here that uses them." Star calls down from the ceiling, doing his usual routine of examining the new passageway before tossing the slime hats as far as he can into it.
