So if we just gave all that up, the planet would be so much better. But if we did, we'd never have books, TV, the internet, cars, clothes, food, or anything else that we use in daily life. Except houses. But we wouldn't have the primitive versions of houses, which were made from animal skin and bones and plant matter. Thus our ancestors would have died and we never would have gotten where we are.
So there. Society messes up the environment, but without it, you wouldn't even be able to communicate your criticism of human nature to me. Get over it. Necessary evils, Jester. Necessary evils.
