true true true. i was basing my assumptions off of the idea that something that lives in unbelievably hot climates would have had to have developed a short of cooling system, just like those that lived in incredibly cold ones would have createed a way to stay warm.

Well, if the heat drains into the wool, and somehow only vents outwards.. Then you have a cooling system.

I wonder how a species made from plasma would work.

If they, say, lived on the sun.

Well, the sun is mostly plasma, so they don't have to worry about that..

I wonder what they would eat/consume.

Probably raw plasma to be converted into a magic infused plasma they can use.

They probably run off of the pure energy and radiation immited from the sun through a form of osmosis, or they simply eat flame. They should just be a higher class of fire being.

Their spirits would most likely be their spirit form themselves, I'd think that it would be similiar to a sort of semi permeable barrier creating a hallow shell in their shape which is attually filled with plasma. If this were true it would allow them to interact with objects and organisms by controlling the amount of heat they output through the barrier.
