Re: Imaginary Battle Royal

jester_of_god
paper huh, not sure if that's going to work out well for you.

Roleplay.

Suddenly a giant sheet of paper covers a large area of the city, obscuring the crystal underneath it. A few seconds later the crystal around it's edges begin to simmer and quickly grow around the edges of the paper. In a few seconds it's buried under of layer of reclective crystaline glass. Almost the entire city is covered.

Meanwhile, Kaen is walking through the city. Every now and then he drives his sword into the ground and a giant pullar of clear crystal erupts from it.

Kaen:"Almost done, just a few more, and it will be finished."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Quick question, If my character is in a city, how did the paper get past the sky scrapers, or did it just atomaticly cover it like snack rap.

You really don't understand the concept of magical virus do you. Since you created all the origional mushrooms at once and programmed them to multiply that means that they are all connected by the same thread of your will. Meaning that if I infect one mushroom it will carry on down the line until it hits the origional ones, which may wipe them all out at once. Also, my character can read energy remember, he could tell that the mushrooms were materialized through an ability that is stabalized through the opponents own magical energy. Thus a will materializer. The actual form of the energy "black spiderweb" also gives a key insite into his personality, and power because a persons magic flow copies their abilities and personality through a combination of color and wavelength. So now he has a general idea about your power, as well as a general knowledge on just how sick and twisted Juvient really is.

Honestly, I am slightl suprised by the mushrooms, I thought that you were going to have them give birth to an army of horrific monsters that would continually spue them out like a factory while you focused on my character. the spore cloud is a nice touch too, I'm guessing their poisonous or some sort of nuero toxin, but the virus should be starting to wipe most of them out by now.. Fair enough, I see that you want to keep this long ranged.

Also don't think that your the only one who knows how to set a trap my friend, lets just say that a city encased in crystal is not as innocent as it appears, and you don't know what type of creatures my wizard can summon. In fact he should be done setting up the crystal pillars by now.

BTW. Why do you keep calling him Kael...

fare enough, but why do you keep calling him Kael.

Sorry I thought that it would work because you spread your will out to several million things at once, which would make the fringes a bit unstable in most situations, but apparently your will doesn't work like that.

Okay then, can i destroy the link by using a spell that was specifically designed to be break through magical barriers, chains, and links. By basically cleaving apart the energy that they are comprised of, or is the chain of your will so strong that it's  basically the magical aquivalent of a string of pure diamond.

Is the sound the actual attack or is it just a biproduct of the blade.

Re: Imaginary Battle Royal

Roleplay:
Kaen; “That should do it.” He pushed himself up form the ground and looked at his handiwork. Large crystal towers littered the landscape in a seemingly random pattern. Suddenly a  loud whistling noise rebated through the air and echoed off of the crystal covered buildings. As soon as Kaen heard it his eyes became cold and he turned towards the sky.
Kaen: “He reminds me to much of Abel. I don’t know what he subjected himself to become this like this, but I have to get rid of him now before he does any more damage.” He looked down at the ring “it looks like I can’t exactly have fun this time.”
Kaen clenched his fist and sent a large amount of energy into the ring. The stone in it’s center shined for  a brief second, and then it started to expand, covering his body in shards of golden armor. Golden wings of armor sprouted form his back, and a mask with black slits covered his face. The armor was covered in veins of dark energy that originated from the black stone now embedded in the center of his chest.
Draco had grown several times his natural size and was now roughly the size of a horse, his body was covered in armor and wrapped in a small flame.
Kaen: “Okay Draco, you know the plan right?” The dragon nodded. “Alright, Lets do this. “Transform.”
_--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It looks like our two characters are about to clash.

Re: Imaginary Battle Royal

jester_of_god
I'm sorry but I can't help but feel slightly offended by this post.

1. I never reffered to your character as a mage or any variation of wizard.

2. In one of the posts you called Him Kael, this was out side of the roleplay, after that Juvient kept calling him a mage.

3. I completely respect that your character does not use magic, but instead uses a technic in which he seems to basically hack into reality and create constructs out of nothingness, which will remain as he imagines them as long as his will is not broken.

4. In my category there are two magics, 1. Pixie dust, and magical tiny fairies, and the rest of that feel good garbage, and 2. The ability to hack into reality by breaking into it with a specific amount of energy, followed by a specific instruction, thus temporarily providing an affect in said area. That is the definistion of the higher fields of magic that defy the laws of physics and usually require specific instructions and large amount of energy, elemental spells are of a lesser degree and are simply instructing the surrounding area to behave in a certain way, or directly programming your orrigionally energy to materialize in a certain shape, such as fire or electricity. Don't compare my magic to the fix all solution that people have made up over the years.

5. My character can read magical energy. This is the general term for what most people would describe as aura, if you will. It's a disruption in the field of reality that is left behind by any object that exists. This is even more true for ability users such as wizards because they leave behind a large amount of energy as they move through reality. As such anything they create or come into contact is covered in the same trail. This should be even more true for your character, who is a holder of a nigh satanic condensed form of semi omnipotent energy. The magical energy itself leaves behind a sort of a finger print if you will, because it is altered by the owners personality and abilities. An example of which would be Kaens crackle of gold energy, his is simply condensed enough to be seen by the naked eye because it distrupts the air molecules and causes them to combust, causing a image similiar to fire or electricity. I just thought that your characters actual fingerprint would be best described as a black spiderweb, from what I know of your character he seems to like traps and slowly torturing his enemies, what better similie to a spider, who traps it's enemies inside of a web, and then injects them with a poison that slowly disolves their internal organs while they sit silently and suffer, until the spider decides to drink their remains.

I'll add the specific words form our posts to verify this later. then again this might belong in the rants thread.

your summon field can now do what it says it can do..

but under one condition...

answer this simple question first:

what will kael do if a floating giant skunk the size of a bear suddenly appears out of nowhere and then farts at kaels face??

yeah thank you for spoiloing the part where my character truimphantly exclaims his deviousness Kael's face.. )

Kaen, not Kael.

My character read your characters energy imprint the second he examined the mushroom and saw the "Spider web."
Handicapped huh...I guess we both are, considering I'm fighting against a sadistic zombie who's body is made out of indestructible will constructs. That can apparently float as well...

Ah, I woud've guessed that it was some instrument that directly transferred senses into another body through use of the sound. Which Knowing your characters ungodly level of torture that he was subjected to, would instantly cause most enemies to die from a heart attack.

Re: Imaginary Battle Royal

jester_of_god
"I call thee from the heart of fire, blade of infernal flames." A red blur of energy suddenly appeared in front of Juvient, moving at an incredibly speed. It collided with him, pushing him back several feet into a building. The blade pressed agianst him for several seconds forcing enough pressure to make a dent in the crystal before dispersing. Juvient, stood roughly in the same position. Since his body was made of a will construct he was no worse for ware, except for a few pieces of his clothes covered in flame.

A figure clad in angels armor stood in front of him several yards away, holding his sword aloft, and calling him out. "Come demon," His voice growled. "I'm starting to get bored of this game of chess." "Carry yourself upon the wings of the rising pheonix, Cycle of flame." The figure spun and a large cyclone of fire was released from his blade and was flowing swiftly toward Juvient.

Re: Imaginary Battle Royal

jester_of_god
sorry I didn't realize that considering that you said that he stormed out into the open and yelled. Speaking of which it would be kind of hard to hear him if he was encased in a metal sphere, which you have to admit is a bit overkill if his body is already basically invinsible. Let's just say that the blade of fire pushed the sphere back into the shadow covered side of a building.
