when he runs through a ghost does he stop at all. Also I'm assuming that the pellet makes him invulnerable. I played a video game once and he could apparently survive several story falls and being hit with various deadly objects with little to no damage.

good point I suppose. But it's not a black hole otherwise everything else would be sucked into it. Perhaps some other gravitational phenomenon. Like maybe a pocket dimension in the place of a digestive system.
