That one chromosome changes a lot of things and is part of the reason woman and men act differently. If you look at the biopsychosocial model, then culture, DNA, and society have equal effects on human personalities. The way we are raised only has so much of an effect on us. It has been found that more adrenaline in the brain causes better memory and that due to less testosteron woman actually are much better at decision making than men are. You also have to look at the fact that culture causes women to take on the role of taking care of the children which is another reason why they believe that women are better at making decisions. Do you see what I am saying here?

Then again due to the structure of the bridge that connects the two hemispheres of the brain men are better at compartmentalizing and analyzing data which allows them to accell in a problmem solving or strategizing environment. And in truth adrenaline causes a hyperactive state of awareness which boosts the brains capacity for thought, while the actual chemical which causes memory to form is produced in equal amounts in humans. Although, this is the first time that I have heard of a correlation between testosterone and memory and thought other than the influx of moods which is caused by all sex hormones, may you please provide a source of your information so that I may examine it.

In addition to this I have currently found several online articles stating that testosterone actually benefits the processing of memory in both sexes.

No thanks. I need to read every post in the RP thread and it takes me at least a minute to load each page so I've got at least an hour's worth of waiting to do. BTW I got my information in Psychology class. It's my favorite elective and the teacher checks things in the latest Psych magazines and online.

....That's something that's a bit annoying. most of the female teachers I've had over the past few years seem to be rather sexist...

Rather interesting. I'd like to learn exactly where he inquired his views on the subject, it would be an interesting start to a study.

Neither of you are in college yet. You'll learn.

I had a male psychology teacher; light-skinned black; older.

And what I learned from him is that a lot of gender roles and gender psychology comes from subjective experience; they are widely based on opinion, not fact, which is why you can't scientifically PROVE that all men are pigs, or that a woman's place is in the home.

And substituting objectivity with subjective, pseudo-objective quasi-analyses doesn't make any one stereotype more true than another.

So both of you drop it. I'm gonna delete these posts shortly.
