Yeah, or maybe where we're sent to steal back treasure from a dragon, without killing him (for fear of awakening some dragon-revering tribe, or something), OR without waking him.

Or get two warring tribes to come to a peace agreement.

Or help one side win against another.

Or assassinate somebody.

Or prevent an assassination.

Or guard (fill in stereotypical helpless damsel in distress) from (fill in stereotypical naughty knave).

By the way..

No one mess with the important NPCs.

If they have a name or I draw a particular focus to them/their appearance then treat them like you would another character. Don't say they do something, one-hit them, or make them say anything.

This is mostly because any Npc that is important is important for a (Often quest related) reason. If you do something to mess up the Npc, then you'll ruin the quest.

And that would make me very angry, very angry indeed.
