I don't. I thought we were gonna be in a small village, or in the forest.

We don't have to stay in town, especially if we are going with a quest style system
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

Have you noticed how planning gives Jester a much greater control over a situation? Instead of being overpowered and instantaneous in an uncalled for and unexpected situation he could act powerful while not suffering from our rage. Continue planning if you choose to do so, just putting if out there.

Well we need a main town somewhere, we don't necessarily have to start there i guess

In that ase we can scrap that Idea and save it for the capital.
If it's only a 130 person town then it will need to be substantially smaller. The center for the guilds would most likely be spread within one building with different sections located for the mages guilds the warriors guilds, the theives guilds, the ranger guilds, etc. The resedential areas would most likely be one and the same with the Market place. Each person running a business of their own out of their homes. The wall however is a neccessity, it keeps the wild creatures out. The population would most likely be 90% human with a few beast men, hybrids, and elves spread throughout. If it's in the middle of no where it would most likely be forest area, then. We need to thin though. Will it be a farming community, in which case we would need a large farm sector either on the outskirts of the city wall, or just past the housing area. Or if it's going to be strictly a settlement, and have it's supplies delivered mainly through Caravan. Either way it leaves the path open for a defend the Caravan quest.

I'm not planning crap. I'm just standing back to see how much of this RP Zale is willing to let Jester govern.

There could be a few spread out houses with a centralized gathering area. 130 people is more of a large village.

It's not that the town is a bad idea, it's just that typically ideas are improvised on when we actually reach that place. Just like in Prison Realms and New Beginning and basically every other RP that's been done here.

not neccessarily, Honestly the town system would have little or nothing to do with both mine and greenday's character seeing as we are both travelers...however for the others it is more of a neccessity.
Philote, as long as it's on my mind, perhaps since you may be traveling because of guild work, your clan can have several Alchemist outposts spread throughout the cities and towns. As both a supply center and a payment center for your character.

The king would most likely reside in the city capital. However We also need to consider the possibility of several fuedal war lords.

True, but we still need a place to pack supplies, and buy and repair our weaponry.

That could be a possibility, at least in surrounding towns. Idk how influential my clan is supposed to be, so I don't think they would have outposts to far depending on how far we travel for quests.

Zale hasn't confirmed if there is going to be a king.

Ok then.
I'll have the details/general stuff of the town up soon.

Yes, so what woud be in the central gathering area.
And while I'm on the subject, what is the call on houses, taxes, payment. Will the taverns supply free room and board to the members of the adventurers guilds or will we have to pay. Will the guilds themselves welcome us in, and for those who are not part of a guild, will they be able o do random quests to earn money. And if so, how will we regulate said quests, simply randomized, or will they each be designed by several people and then approved by Zalermancer, then be added to a quest board.

It would apear that that tactic has worked before, but those threads are mostly randomized and act upon a much wider area scale. If this is going to be similiar to a game, then we may need more organization.

I'm lazy.
I will let Jester give me ideas. He is good at that. But. I do decide what is actually used.
