Generic (Totally orginal) Fantasy roleplay!

I never thought I'd say this, but, like Jester said, back to the task at hand. We should be designing the world, thinking of creatures, and deciding on races.

Races is the only thing I see that really needs to be decided upon. Creatures and Land can be made up as we go.

I'm still deciding on whether to be a sort of Forest Elf or a type of Winged Elf.

Should we have categories with a certain number of monsters in each and some mixtures?

THen you've forgotten that this is a game.

I forgot who said this but no the locations can't entirely be at random, their needs to be some order so that we can instill more chaos into the system. By developing actual routes and distances we can add the ability for our characters to get sidetracked or ambushed, as well as create a stable monster base.

If you chose winged elf, then you would have to add flight as one of the abilities, otherwise the character would have an unfair species advantage.

And your species would be I'm guessing one with the ability to distort reality to their will.

Read the bold UNFAIR species advantage. as in flight, the ability to breath under water, etc. Otherwise seperate stats are fair play.

Heck no. As far as I'm concerned mine is human, or at least if possible a non aging otherwise the same variety.

Yes, my person can fly, but your person is immune to aging effects, thus, when we are turned to dust by a warlock with powerful aging spells, you remain, and act OP

Actually my second ability prevents that any way. and the anti aging thing could also be explained with that.

Wow, I'm quite surprised Zale gave you that ability. But I'm not surprised to see that once he allows it, you abuse it.

How could I possibly abuse it. it basically stops me from being directly affected by poisons and charms. If someone chucks I fire ball at me I still burn, If someone holds my head under water I still drown. If somone lobs of my head with a sword, I'm still decapitated. It's usefullness extends to me not having to eat, and not, aging for the same resons, but other than that I'm just as vunerble to physical attack as everyone else.

At the first chance, when you are 1 puny ability away from insanity, I will create an Earthquake that will sprout super vines to hole you in, while they crush you into a small, squishy, puny ball of carbon
