Also: What is that music supposed to do?

At the I know that I heard something, but I'm not sure whether or not its still there. If It's invisible the music should draw it out. That specific song is the equivalent of a hyperactive boost. Anything that hears it will find themselves full of energy and unable to sit still. It was either that or openly confront the space. However, I'm still trying to figure out if it was too much that my character was able to hear the imp, but since you said he half flew, half climbed through a shattered doorway he would have made at least a small amount of noise, and any of the local fauna have fled due to the previous fight. Or is that to much to infer with a mid int and a high wisdom?

In that case I'd like to up charisma, dexterity can wait, I'm going to need some convincing skills pretty darn soon.

What do you think, should I have just openly confronted the thing then? or just ignored it and tried to walk past...I'm not doing the latter because Im'pretty sure the thing will attempt to kill me and I'm not walking into a trap....

Firebolt.

It doesn't really explode on contact. Fireball, on the other hand..

huh, in most games I thought you could skip attack phase if you wished.

Nope, It should be hurtling towards the imp at around sixty seventy miles per hour while I'm running towards it at full speed.
