Tried that, the answer's no.
Bow before your unimaginably powerful overlord!

Wait a minute, I'm currently too busy holding a cork in mid air for petty groveling.

Alright ^^

Here's one:

A family woke up to a horrible sight. Their house got robbed during their sleep and their dog, which was sleeping inside the house, was killed. The strange thing is, even though there were obvious traces of effraction on the door, noone in the house heard the dog barking in the middle of the night, and they all know the dog barks loudly as soon as it senses an intruder in his territory.

Then the dog obviously did NOT sense its intruder/assailant.

Or was rendered helpless to alert of what it sensed.

Does the perpetrator have the superpower? Yes.
Did he use it on the dog or himself? None technically.
Did he use it to enter the house (like phasing thorugh the walls)? Or did he just did it the old-fashioned way? The old-fashioned way.
Were the dog's senses manipulated? No.
Were his own tracks/smell/noise etc. hidden by the power? No.
Was the dog killed by (use of) the superpower? Yes.
Did the perp kill the dog before he could alert anyone? Yes.
Is it a Mythpower? No.
Is it a tactile or a ranged power? Ranged.
Is it a mental or a physical power? None.
Does the power has to do with stealth or with senses? No.
Does it has to do with sound (masking/making none, manipulating or cancelling it)? No.
Is the dog important or could it have been a tiger, moose etc.....? Yes, the dog is important.

If I guess it right (improbable), who does the next riddle? Anyone who posts first or can I assign anyone who participates in this thread? Whoever wants to do it can do it. If noone asked to do the next, it's the one who posts first.

Some kind of sensory manipulation/paralysis?

Oh, never mind, you answered it...

Dang. Hm...was it manipulated by a sort of movement/transportation power?

Re: Game: What superpower am I thinking of?

Vespert
Er, I'd pick Magic.
Just so we're clear. Physical is when it affects the body, mental when it affects the mind, divine/undivine when it comes from a deity or an unholy deity and magic when it's... none of the previous ones, right?

Yes.

Physical- comes from body

Mental- comes from mind

Spiritual/Divine/Undivine- comes from a spirit or deity

Magic- something not overtly explainable by science or any of the above means

Hope that explanation of magic wasn't too vague...

Re: Game: What superpower am I thinking of?

Vespert
Is the power part of a series or is it a stand-alone power? A stand-alone one.
Is it illusion-based? No.
Does it has to do with nature, animals, dogs? No.
Was it Connection Of The Animals (calm the dog down or summon a mate for him/her before killing him/her) No.
Was it Animal Trainer (causing the dog to be loyal to you and not bark) No.
Though that doesn't explain why it had to be a dog.
