You said the superpower wasn't used on the bullet nor the knife, but on something else. Do you consider physical properties of an object, like speed, energy, size, mass,..., as part of the object or as something separate?

He was affected by the kinetic energy of the bullet, but the superpower doesn't have anything to do with kinetic energy, right?
Correct.

Not sure how it answers my question. During the attacks, did the guy stand still or did he move?
Oh, sorry. The guy stood still. I gave you a hint in that answer.

Was the guy on the bullet's trajectory? If he didn't use his superpower, would the bullet have touched him?
Yes, the power did not affect the bullet's trajectory in any way.

well...is it closely related to any of them?

No.

Hint: The power did not directly achieve the effect. Remember that he modified something earlier. This includes granting something another purpose.

You already said it's not Ability Imbuing...

#1 : Is that thing he altered beforehand an object? a force of nature? a person? the air? the ground? an element?
#2 : Did he alter it by improving an already existing property/ability? by giving it a new property/ability?
#3 : Can this superpower be used on anything or on a specific thing?
#4 : Is there only one type of alteration he can cause?
#5 : Can he cause any type of alteration he wants?
#6 : Is there a reason why he used his ability before being attacked?
#7 : Did he know he was going to be attacked?

Who asked that? I don't remember that question.

Well, anyway, we have a winner!

"The man, luckily, had Ability Imbuing, giving his jacket the ability to be stab proof, as he knew there were thugs in the neighborhood. When shot, the power worked, but could not absorb all the force, as it wasn't designed to do so. However, he survived, able to run off and contact police."

So, Shadowulf1, you get another turn.

Okay.

"A man is at a pub one night, and gradually through the night, gets perfectly drunk. His senses are dull and he has no idea what to do with himself other than head straight home. He's left his car keys with his roommate (who's volunteered to be his designated driver) so he asks to be driven home. The next morning, the roommate walks into the man's room to check on him, only to find the man's got slice wounds at every main artery, across the jugular vein, and is now perfectly dead. What happened?"

An amusingly drunken vampire?

Can't think of anything, so I'll made a random guess:
-Alcohol Muscles. I don't think this is right though.

Is the man the one with the power?

Were the cuts made from the inside or the outside of the body?
Is the alcohol still in his blood?
Is all the man's blood in his appartment?
Is your use of the word 'perfectly' important?

@Zale: NO...

@Myself: definitely not.

@WHD: Sure, you can make the next one, if you get this one right.
1) A third party, of sorts...
2) No...
3) Yes...he went straight to bed.
4) No...
5) No, no evidence was left other than the wounds themselves
6) Yes, a weapon was used to kill him. A knife.
7) The drunken daze is important, in a way, but not essential to find out how he died.
8) No. Not Invisibility, Phasing, Hyalokinesis, Telekinesis or Fracture...

@Vespert:

1) Outside. A weapon. A knife.
2) Yes, the alcohol is still in his blood, though he suffered a lot of blood loss.
3) Yes the blood is all in the apartment.
4) No, I just liked using the word perfectly...

Was the death caused by a superpower?
Was the way the perpetrator entered normal?
