No, but I'll give you a hint:
The bullet didn't touch him either, but the force behind the bullet was what affected him.

No to all of the questions, though mostly WHD's.

Did he control the force behind the bullet's vector of motion?

No.

I was worried that you would guess it too quickly! Guess that wasn't a concern.

So, by using his power, the guy diverted the bullet then.

Did he also do the same thing when dealing with the knife? Was the knife also diverted as a result?
Does his power work on objects in motion? only objects in motion?

@WHD: Hold on. If you look more closely at his answers, he skipped your question "Are the attacks manipulated, dodged, repelled, absorbed, diverted? "

@Myself: Was the power physical, mental/psionic, magical or divine/spiritual? (Just in case your negative answer to Shadowulf1's question actually means "No, I didn't say anything about that")
If the knife didn't penetrate his skin, did it bounce back? stop before it could cut it? Was it diverted? Did the thug still have the knife in his hand after his attempt? (I already asked those questions, but you kinda avoided them)

Kinetic Absorption (if that wasn't already guessed)?

Re: Game: What superpower am I thinking of?

Here's what we know so far (well, most of it):
- The guy who was attacked has the superpower.
- He is not invulnerable.
- He is not superstrong.
- It's not an armor-type ability.
- His body didn't change in any way.
- The superpower was not used on the knife, the bullet, the gun, the thugs or the guy himself.
- It was used on something else.
- The knife and the bullet didn't even touch him.
- The bullet that was shot didn't follow a straight path.
- The power can affect any object.
- He didn't use anything from the surrounding.
- It's not a superpower that creates/generates something.
- No illusions involved.
- It's not a -kinesis power.
- It's a superpower that improved/modified/altered something.
- It didn't harm the thugs.
- The guy was affected by the force behind the bullet.
- It doesn't have anything to do with time, space, air, gravity, momentum, kinetic energy, or any kind of energy.

Do you agree with every point, Myself ?

You mean, the bullet failed to touch him, but it still had an effect on him, right?
When he used his powers, did the guy move as a result of it?
Do you confirm that the bullet diverted from its normal trajectory? (I asked if the bullet followed a straight path, you answered no)
Is it the kind of power that has an effect on both the user and something they are targetting? Like Distance Locker.

So it's NOT Kinetic Absorption? That's odd...

#1: The bullet didn't touch his skin, but the kinetic energy still was able to give him a bruise.
#2: No, he had used his power beforehand.
#3: The bullet wasn't diverted; it went in a straight line. I must have missed your question; I'll fix it up ASAP.
#4: No.

No, but is close in a strange way (something reduced the amount of kinetic energy affecting him, rendering the stabbing harmless and the bullet far less dangerous).

He was affected by the kinetic energy of the bullet, but the superpower doesn't have anything to do with kinetic energy, right?
Myself wrote
#2: No, he had used his power beforehand.
Not sure how it answers my question. During the attacks, did the guy stand still or did he move?

Was the guy on the bullet's trajectory? If he didn't use his superpower, would the bullet have touched him?
