A man was found mauled in park. He had been killed by an animal, possibly a dog, wolf, big cat or similar animal. However, whatever attacked him either was part of a pack or was incredibly fast, faster than any animal candidate.

Furthermore, the beast/s seemed intelligent, with a tool a meter away, with the victim found reaching for it, but with bite marks on the forearm of his dominant hand (for the police had identified the corpse, partially through genetic testing) and tracks indicating he had been dragged back.

Unfortunately, there were no tracks and the only scents were those of normal animals, such as dogs, likely attracted to the smell of the kill.

So, what power was used?

Well, there's two kinds of summoning.

1. The kind that goes poof (ie a genie, a demon, a magic weapon, etc)

2. The kind that doesn't go poof (ie Aquaman "summoning" sea critters, Tarzan "summoning" his jungle comrades, Snow White "summoning" her woodland buddies, etc)

Is it either of those?
