Everyone wondered for a long time how the heck Billy was so good at what he did; his jobs as a construction worker, miner, plumber, electrician and professional stuntman/daredevil all seemed so dangerous. And yet, any time he arrived at his jobs, he was the best at it, and always so animated and humorous about it (despite the potential danger involved). And then one day, everybody found out just HOW animated.
He had been caught numerous times displaying rather cartoonish behavior while on the job.
When things went wrong, his eyes grew to the size of saucers and he hightailed it outta there with unbelievable speed.
When he walked off of high ledges at his construction job, and only risked falling when he looked down (which gave him time to rush back to the edge); and the one time he fell, he pumped the so-called "air-brakes" which slowed his fall to a crawl in mid-air, and allowed him to step down only a few inches from the ground.
And whenever it was time to change clothes, there was a quick tornado-spin, and his wardrobe was instantly different. After he changed into the costume his job required,
Cartoon Physics dictated that he'd automatically know how to do the task at hand, regardless of actual experience.
"What do you have to say for yourself?" The press said in unison at the press conference revealing his powers.
He said finally with a humble grin, "I quit. That's all, folks!"
Now...whaddya think of THAT one?
(BTW: Sorry the power reveal is so long and drawn out...)
