The Goku-esque lad was training in the mountain in peace and quiet and was in town shopping and didn't like to be vexed by the loud alarm.
Well, that and not liking the injustice committed by the wicked persons. So he "superspeeds" in (moves too fast for the eye to see) and head-tackles the robber who flies into the vaultdoor.
Don't worry, he's fine, he used restraint, just like Clark knocks people out in Smallville.
