I fire on one, and at the point of impact large vines sprout, entangling them and reaching out to grab others that are nearby.

Stupid military, for some stupid reason I was sent away from the group. So I was left by myself. Anyway I walking along and I saw a huge flock of flying creatures streaming across the sky, they sounded quite angry, so I took a guess and they were hunting prey for some dinner. They were too fast so I started running after them, but as I was running I felt like I was faster, like there was no air resistence against me. I knew my elemental skill was manipulating air but this was not what I thought it woud be. As I got further, in the distance I saw the creatures attacking a group of people who looked quite familiar. Thats when I realised it was the people I met before we left earth to where ever the hell we are now. I jumped as I got closer pushing air beneath me and went up incredibly high. I grabbed one of the creatures by the head, but they flung me off like I was nothing. I was now decending to the ground, trying to summon an air cushion. I did for a split second but I could not hold it for very long and I passed out, the last thing I remember before I hit the ground was that there are people which need my help and I hit the ground hard.

As the fire elementals drew closer I notticed something falling from their midst. It was a person, a very familiar person. It was one of the original group members. I watched the person fell from the skies and landed in our camp. I ran to him to see if he was alright. Unfortunatly he was unconscious. I dragged him to one of the tents until he would wake up.

Now, what to do, what to do. Beings made of fire are unlikely to be hurt by light but...

I draw quick bursts of light together in the air in an attempt to disorient the attackers.

I WOULD attack with lightning, but...yeah, probably not wise.

SO instead, I reduce their heat so their fire goes out, and their wooden crossbows are messed up. THEN I allow them to rapidly reheat. Perhaps that'll do some damage.

If not I'll just keep repelling heat from them, freezing them to the point I can shatter them. Though doing that will suck for my energy reserves...
