I could try to lodge some arrows in the chain links, then use those to grow plants off of to shatter the chains.

...why shatter the chains?..We could use them to our advantage, we can make some spires to impale it on, then pull the chains wiht another one of our abilities and get the thing to fall.

So, I'll be gone so i'll be unable to start second world until I get back. I guess just get to the point where you kill him then i'll restart world two when i get back.
