I foresee the problem of people not being on when a colossus is defeated and everyone gets their new skills, so whenever you post again just post which skills you want here for however many colossi you missed before posting in the RP.

As for the team, Your character either enlisted to join the group or was drafted into the group. You all met each other briefly between the time of getting the colossus heart that gave you your powers and going through the first portal. There are other units of 10 or less members with the same choice of elements, but you won't randomly run into them, they may or may not become important later.

Your character can have some survival and combat training but time and supplies were short before your group was forced to rush through the portal to combat the elemental threat. Because of this at the start of the first area you need to find a way to make a temporary base, collected supplies (Mostly food), and Reintroduce yourself to the group. When the colossus is killed a portal will automatically open bringing the group to the next area.

Dang, this sounds like so much fun, as long as the fights with the colossi are long and drawn out. I can't wait for this to start.

Normal weapons wouldn't be much use, but your character could have a military style combat knife for utility purposes, like for when you need to cut up one of the elemental animals for food.

Also some first aid supplies would be given to last for a little while.

I'll consider some other items if there is suggestions.

Hmm about that greenday, I can let you start making food after a couple levels but i can't have you being the sole supplier of food, everyone will have to add to the stock of food by hunting.

By the way, can my character start off with a bow and a dagger?

You might need to use a skill for that, herbal medicine or just healing through cell control, whichever you pick.

I'm probably going to get some skills in Animal, and be sort of a gene manipulator to an extent.

I'd have to say no on bow. I don't see a military organization deciding to give a bow to go fight elementals, but i can always change this if others disagree.

Not saying you can't get a bow later.

He used to be a hunter, and then sort of got drafted, sort of joined, and brought his bow.

You guys do realize your going to be fighting elementals that if you didn't have powers would be completely immune to those weapons .

If you want to specialize in those weapons you could always make custom elemental weapons.

If you really want to start with those, I guess I'll allow it as long as you make a good reason for having it when you introduce your character and keep in mind they won't be as effective without the elemental powers to back them up.
