I'd handle powers just fine -assuming they were all my NB ones, including mimicry.

I'm not making a "I think" statement; it's a "I know" statement. I was one step ahead of you and made Temptation Immunity for precisely this and I have it automatically in NB due to possession of another one of my powers, Author Power Mimicry*.

Besides, to my knowledge, you have no powers on the main site (correct me if I'm wrong). If I'm right, how do you know NB hasn't already happened and we're just hiding it? For that matter, I could secretly have NB powers and keeping them to myself (on a side note, if anyone here is in that position, please share them around ).

Well, I think the world would be OK if every person had 1 superhuman power.  

But only if all those superpowers would be fairly limited.  
Like enchanced speed, strength, regeneration.  
Not the powerfull stuff like reality bending, unlimited telekinesis, ...

In such a world those powers would just be used in all kinds of jobs where they would be usefull.

It would be a bit like in the world of the european comic Lanfeust of Troy. Where every person has 1 specific magical power.  
And for example someone who can heat metal with his eyes takes a job as a weapon maker.  Someone who can increase thirst gets a job at a bar. etc.

Yeah, but not everyone thinks like that. Many would simply use powers wrongly or to cheat, lie, steal and kill.

Well yes. It would certainly bring new challenges to the law enforcement.  
And also pose problems in sports. (why train hard when some supers can win without training)
But I don't think the world would turn into total anarchy.  
It would however when a lot of people would get the really strong powers.
