Well, if your Elemental Ultimus uses only the four basic elements then I think Shadowulf would agree that you could use it.

I would. If it allows elemental control on a monstrous scale, it can only be used at the very end, as an auxiliary extension of normal Elemental Manipulation.

Hmmm. what power would couple nicely with Conduit? It would have to be something simple.

Oh, yeah...now that's what I call an auxiliary use of a power. Granted. Though, it limits you as to what second power you can take, if you take a second.

Yeah, not sure what could go with that and still be along the lines of Spades. Maybe some kind of discipline-based passive power.

This reminds me of that one Alice-in-wonderland type rp I participated in once.

My character was a mad hatter. It was fun.

"In a super-fun chase.."

"Laughing all the way, HA HA HA.."

 The Mad Hatter laughed from joy. He was having a blast. "I can't wait to thank Lady Sophie for this entertainment", He thought. Nicholas danced from branch to branch, even landing and leaping upside-down, even sideways. The head hunters behind him were all but screaming from frustration. Their diamond surcoats were covered in mud and sweat, and more than one of them were cursing the hatter's name.
 
 Then, suddenly, the Mad Hatter seemed to vanish from sight. They stopped suddenly, looking for signs of the unseen hatter. "W-where did he go", One said in a shaky voice. Then a voice right next to his ear said, "I'm right behiind yoouu."

 The hunter nearly jumped out of his skin and swerved around. "That was hilarious! I was like a ninja!" The Mad Hatter laughed. He, with a suddenly serious manner, took a step back, but then widened his stance and put one hand before him. He beckoned. The hunter pulled out his knife and ran full force at the hatter. Then sagged as he was elbowed in the stomach and then took a fist to the face. "HI-YA" Nicholas bellowed!  

The hatter spun over to the next hunter. After taking off his hat and making an attempt at a bow he asked, "Might I have this dance?". Without waiting for a response he grabbed her hand and then wrapped his arm around her waist. He took several dance like steps forward before sighing and, with a flick of his arm, spinning the unfortunate huntress around. Like a demented top, she twirled around and then collapsed dizzily onto the ground.

Nicholas started to laugh but was cut off by a sword thrust that nearly took off his hat. Spinning on the spot, He said. "Philistine, There's no need for the criticism to get violent!". Taking several steps back, he prepared himself. Removing his hat from his head, In the manner of a stage magician, An iron poker was pulled from the hat. "En Garde, Monsieur." He shouted, wielding the poke like a sword.  

The sword and the poker clashed once, twice, three times before the hunter managed to thrust his sword at the mad hatter's chest, Only to be surprised by the hatter bending backwards at the waist. "That was a close one", Nicholas laughed, "It's almost as if you were taking this seriously." With a flourish the hatter swiped at the hunters wrist. A sickening crack resounded through the forest and the hunter dropped his sword with a curse.

The Mad Hatter pulled a watch from his coat and announced, "As fun as this has been I must quote a particularly punctual rabbit, I'm late! I'm late, for a very important date. No time to say hello-goodbye! I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!"" With a flick of his wrist, he threw the poker back into the infinite void of his hat. A bow and a wave then the Mad Hatter ran straight up a tree and was soon bounding through branches again.
