I hate to say it, but the coding part has yet to start. Once I get a start on it, we may get a few powers quickly (at least, after I have finished the base game; health, stats, selection, etc).

I will then be able to at least release the basic style of the game (I should be able to make a first-person shooter, due to the way the cameras work, but a third-person game is just as likely).

I am currently beginning to learn the basics of Minecraft modding in order to make a mod or two to get the hang of programming.

I have inidea to make certain items float in water, so you could sort items. However, I need advice on whether certain items will float.

I should be able to gather a development team though and code it in Unity. I look forward to it. I agree with Wulfie's idea to make this a premium feature of the site, to pay for the data use of the site and reduce the "Over Quota" time. However, this will likely be free to those who support it now. I am not sure how much I would for myself, though likely a small percentage.

The first run would probably be just single player, fighting giant scorpions.

I wonder how you would go about contacting the folks who work on Runescape, or folks like that. I should try to do that. It's a real longshot, but I could try to make the proposition a tempting one, if they would be willing to give me their audience.

Good news! I have now completed my exams (well, I only had yr 11 Physics ) so now I have plenty of time. In optimal conditions, the coding on either this or a potential Minecraft mod (though likely this) may begin by Christmas.

What kind of game you talking about

It is a game in which you use your acquired powers from the list (that have been added to the game) to fight each other and NPC's. Each player has a limit of 10 powers per game, for balance.

I will need help with a storyline; it does not feel right without it.

Well.here is what i came up with right now  you lived with your family and very low level monster kills them all and you have to fight them with a rock and there this little map thingy that tells you were to go and when you get to a certain point  you faint when you wake up  you find yourself in  a old wizards house he heals you and desires to teach you powers and you have a pick of one of five basic powers fire wind earth  water and they have to pick one and every time you level up you pick so no one person in the game will have the same powers and i am thinking about for level two when you level up  light darkness or light tell me what you think so far
