of course the conversation dies too quickly; hardly anybody likes to get into arguments or debates, and when they do, they're kinda scared to touch "controversial" or "touchy" topics (which generate the most conversation and discussion)

In addition, the conversations started don't really require much in-depth thought (and if they do, only THEN will they evoke any in-depth conversation)

Other- Various forms depending on use of powers and mood. involving a black featurless humanoid with wings and seven various symbols on head hands feet and chest. A Masked Beast capable of vast shapeshifting. A few Jester incarnations.and an angelic form with a mask seven horns, seraphim wings, and angelic armor and weaponry. Form varies due to shapeshifting

Likes- Books, silence, animals, nature, children, classical music, rock music, jazz music, videogames, machinery, weaponry "mainly swords", sugar, fights.

Dislikes- Hates the following: ignorance, repeating himself, profanity, murder, cockiness, feminists, people who think they always know better than someone else and see their word as law, people who use the stereotypical master servant system of abuse, demonic energy. Dislikes: Vegetarians, Parasites.

Phobias- death in general

Personality- Lazy, extremely short fused, often stares off into space while thinking, a bit cocky and sarcastic, fluctuates between contemplative and deep and entirely nonsensical depending on mood.

=Skills=

Knowledge- When you spend a while trapped inside of a pocket dimension with nothing to do but pick your teeth, and train you end up picking up on a lot of fighting techniques and general knowledge on how things work. Intelligent, can figure out the workings of most machines and objects in a few seconds. Techniqually has access to infinite knowledge but only can access small parts at a time for a few seconds.

Skills- Good chef, although he rarely eats anything. Always thinking a few dozen steps ahead subconsciously. speed maniac, put him behind the wheel of a vehicle in Oregon and you might end up finding it in Russia two days later.  incredibly good tactician.

Nonskills- Stinks in most social situations, mentally unable to  use profanity, twitches when extremely annoyed or angry, easily becomes bored and enters self induced trance.

Honestly, I think that I wouldn't fail at this point. We'd just battle for ten thousand years and end in a tie...unless I can find a way to use a level ten seal on him.

The whole point is, I wouldn't propose he could be defeated at all, being supposedly omnipotent. I'd advise that you first debate with him and get him to admit he's not omnipotent or omniscient or omnipresent or omnibenevolent, and then you're on a level playing field. Otherwise, he'll just argue you to death about how he could just wipe you off the face of existence, no matter what because he's supposedly OMNIPOTENT...

Argue him down to just being a powerful reality bender (like you or myself) and then you'd be on a level playing field.

maybe you can help by giving a definition that expalins the differense between ultimate reality bending an omnipotence.

as far as I'm concerne ultimate reality manipulation is basically the ability to do anything with little to no effort, only being limited
by the imagination.

let's just say this, no his oni is not omnipotent because he is limited by his imagination. Als the Ultimate version of the Jester has the all powerful part of onmipotence in it's Jack of all trades trait, so he would be immune to most of the direct influences of omnipotence. In other words no poof your gone.

By the way, no one knows what a level ten seal is do the.....The gates of heaven and hell are only a level seven or eight...

Uh, no.

Your concept of Omnipotence? You and Alex are both unsure of what it means (which is why we have the problems with Alex that we do...); it's not just REALLY powerful reality bending. It is TOTAL, UNLIMITED, UNBRIDLED POWER; there's no resisting it, escaping it, countering it, neutralizing it, mimicking it, or otherwise altering it. It's ALL-POWERFUL, which is why only God (or other deities, according to other people) have it.

Furthermore...

Your concept of the gates of Heaven and Hell? ONLY Jesus can freely pass into them before time for anyone to gain access.  ANYTHING locked by God is totally unlockable by anyone except those who have access to do it, which, sorry to say, wouldn't be the "funny man" of the court (read the Bible, you know who has access...).

Funny man of the court huh. that's really insulting you know, it's like calling your penultimate a plumber. I know what omnipotence is, powerfull reality bending is the equivalent of a song that you can't get out of your head, in the presence of omnipotence, no even less. The universe is nonexistant and the one with omnipotence imagined it...no one has omnipotence except god simply because he is the only being that can handle it, period. No other exists.

The ability key allows you to unlock all things at it's greatest form period. It's basically the skeleton key to the universe.. honestly no one should own it., which is one of the reasons I've regretted posting powers on this sight.

The true ability Jester is not reality bending, or reality manipulation, it is complete control over existence with no limit except the imagination, almost no one can handle this ability to it's full extent. which is why I always say that if I ever did, I'd end up collapsing in on myself and dying, taking a considerable part of exsistence along with me.

What Alex's Omni has, is not omnipotence. He may no everything, he may be able to control the whole of existence. but it is not omnipotence. It is simply hacking a greater design and altering it, slightly. no more than reality bending. on a collossal scale. In that respect his omni and the Jester are alike in respect to power. However, at least jester isn't stupid enough to alter reality to such an extent. there are unknown repurcussions that almost no one can fathom.

Alex, I do not wish to direspect your artistic vision in creating your character. However I will not stand you claiming that he is omnipotent. If anything, he is on the same level as Jester.

The Gates of heaven and Hell are an in fact an impassible set if gates accessable to only those allowed through, and the fact that something is allowed through is what makes them a level eight. THe Jester was sealed in a level nine, which could only be broken by something akin to an apocolypse where all gates are opened. A level ten. is in and of itself nonexistant, because it bars axcess to existence itself sealing the subject in an area beyond time space and reality, where only they exist, unable to move, think, or act for the rest of eternity, as the rest of the existence is seperate...it would be like cutting them from the book of the lamb and throwing their symbol away, then writing over it. Honestly a level ten shouldn't exist, but it's the only way to take somthing like Alex down if we ever came to it.

No. If you're a Jester, you're a funny man, no? You're the one that SUPPOSEDLY God designated to entertain Him. That makes you the funny man, the comedian, whatever you want to call it. Don't get mad at me cause YOU chose to called the Jester (which in Medieval times was also called the FOOL or the BUFFOON). I'm not calling you either of THOSE names, but that's what they were called, so don't get mad; you have no right to, and it's not an insult, it's the truth.

And yes, you're right, Omnipotence is NOT just really powerful Reality Bending. Omnipotence is total control over the fabric of reality and unreality. The greatest extent of power, with more capability than any of us could ever muster, even combined, and at full capacity. It bypasses all defenses like Immutability, Invulnerability, Mind-Control resistance, Time-Defiance, Barrier Defiance, Reality Anchoring or whatever.

In addition, you do realize that having complete control over all existence is the same as Omnipotence, correct? Meaning you contradicted yourself (you said that nobody has Omnipotence but God, which is true, but then said that the Jester has that much power at full capability).

And I don't know what scale you're going by, but if you say they're level eight, then, yeah, sure whatever. The GATES of Heaven and Hell, however, are not fields; they're actual gates. Don't know what they look like, but they're gates. And the Gates of Heaven are pearly from what I'm told  (ya know, if ya read the Bible...).

ANYWAYS. I honestly haven't got the patience to deal with this. I'm constantly trying to explain this stuff to you guys, and ya just don't seem to get it. Despite wanting to include God into your stories, you have to also consider religious truth as well.

BTW: NOBODY respond to this who is not at least spiritually inclined. It does not concern non-religious or anti-religious folks. I am just talking to Jester and others who have some belief in God...
