I'm not trying to force my religion on you; that simply gets enemies. I'm just saying I take offence to it. I wouldn't ask you to do something more drastic -this is just typing in a few more letters; just like telling someone not to leet speak. Just remember, I'm not trying to convert anyone here.

On a related note, please do not assume I'm a creationist; I do believe in evolution, just that God helped it along a bit at times.

Oh, thanks for explaining the meaning of x-mas, I knew there was a reason, but I didn't know what it was.

I'm not even going to put my two cents into that arena, as obviously even the mention of God at all is somehow trying to force your religion onto people, and trying to defend Him against folks with anti-MY-religion sentiments is always going to be seen as exploding. In the same way, if X is the same as just abbreviating Christ, then why do so many people have a problem with Christians calling it Christmas? That's why we say society is trying to take the "Christ" out of Christmas... (I'm no sower of discord, but I felt I should at least mention that. Won't mention it. WILL NOT MENTION IT; fighting inner impulse to tell about four people off here...WILL NOT DO IT).

Mmkay. Back to the topic at hand, NO MORE NEGATION POWERS. IF THEY PASS MY DESK, THEY ARE AUTOMATICALLY DENIED. Any other negation powers are considered variations of Power Negation, and are not going to be accepted under ANY circumstances. AT ALL. PERIOD...

1. They are variations of Power Negation, a power already featured here.

2. They cause unnecessary confusion and strife ("So what you negated my power, I negate your Power Negation!")

3. They are incredibly annoying and so many powers exist, they could eventually take up a greater portion of the list than powers that actually DO something.

what about an ability that makes your powers imutable, as in not being able to be alterred in any way by a force any other than yourself...as in stolen, made the opposite of itself, weakened, strenghthened, ect.

Well, in a way, some arguments are good; it can stir up ideas and can relieve boredom. It also could change the course of a fight in "New Beginning" or "Substitute Battle Arena" by providing a change in targets. However, other arguments, like Perfect Immortality, are just annoying.

My capitalization of letters IS me raising my voice, as a way of giving emphasis. I've said that before, and I will not say it again. I'd like it if you-all would stop saying that things I do or mention are somehow offensive, because nobody cares to take into consideration MY sensitivities or the sensitivities of others with similar beliefs.

I, for a fact, feel as though anybody who has been speaking to me this long, should know how seriously I take the name of God. Christ is not a joke, not a minor part of my life, not even a name I would joke with. And so to abbreviate his name like X-Mas is ridiculous. The "x" people use to supposedly signify an abbreviation of his name is NOT used for that purpose. The "x" used in society TODAY is pronounced "eks", while the "x" actually comes from the Greek "chi" pronounced "kai". Personally, I feel don't see why anyone has any problem with saying Christmas ANYWAYS; it's not like you're saying "CHRIST-mas"; society has already changed it so that the Christ is pronounced like the name "Chris", just with a "t" at the end. It seems like just the fact that it HAS the word Christ in it AT ALL is somehow offensive.

BUT, since no one here can empathize with my sentiments, and will undoubtedly IGNORE or ARGUE against them, then I shall do the same with YOUR sentiments, as I consider the name of GOD to be MUCH more important than silly CAPITALIZED LETTERS...

Re: Christmas day! Looking forward...

jester_of_god
as long as your on this subject I'd just like to mention this....

Christmas was origionally a pagan holiday in which they celebrate the winter solstice and was origionally ostracised by the christian religion, and the practitioners of it were killed. Eventually they integrated it into the christian religion in some way or another and eventually people were deluded into thinking that Jesus was apparently born on this day as well...I'm guessing it happened in the same process that the rabbit was introduced into easter...

As much as that theory has been passed around, I doubt that. They probably somehow REPLACED the pagan celebration with Christmas, because I doubt a holiday called "Christmas" meaning "A service held for Christ" or "A celebration of Christ" would have been disapproved of by the Christian society. If it was, it was probably Roman Catholics who were against proto-Protestants Christians...same folk who banned Christian marriage, and Christian everything else.

Re: Christmas day! Looking forward...

jester_of_god
nah it was the origional catholics, they remained it christmas, it was origionally called the winter solstice, they probably wanted to celebrate Jesus's birth around the same time as Hanaka, not really sure how to spell that, so instead of picking a new date they probably just replaced an old holiday with it so it would be easier to remember...oh well it doesn't really matter anyway...

They wanted to celebrate Christ's birth around that time because they thought it was when He was born. That's the only solution that makes sense; it's not like they changed it from a previous date. I could see it happening like:

1. Started celebrating Christmas in some manifestation...

2. Noticed pagans were celebrating the start of Winter as "Winter Solstice"

3. Wanted to impose the Birth of Christ as a holiday instead of the Winter Solstice. Christmas is now celebrated (except by pagan folks who still celebrate the solstice)
