Wish's idea was in direct contradiction to the rules, but at the same time, it was too good an idea to pass up, so I made a compromise. In addition, it means we can't walk around in a heavily-defended fort, as we must watch for bird droppings.

What conditions do people want in the global flood scenario? I'll listen to any suggestions before making my decision.

I'm thinking a metallic ark. I'll follow the suggestions proposed by some creationists about the global flood for designing this plan. However, we have four advantages:
1) Technology: Our technology allows larger and more durable ships.
2) Powers: We have superhuman abilities to help us survive.
3) Records: Whether it happened or not, we have knowledge of the global flood in the bible to look at. With this comes many suggestions as to how it could have been done (look up global flood).
4) Ships: Our world has literally thousands of ships, some able to support large populations long-term. Then the airships to that number.

if it can turn a toy gun into a super blaster, and a bicycle into a jet, it can make the thing fly. Unfortunately though it would be incredibly unstable and would most likely fall apart and or explode in a short time.

I'm thinking of starting the global flood story, but I don't know what should cause the powers. Any ideas? I'm thinking a genetic-modification virus (for aquatic adaptation) gone wrong.

ANYWHO, the global flood would be a cool idea, but the way you come about powers could be different for everybody. Maybe some exposed to radiation when the nuclear power plants are submerged, for example?
