Abilities Whilst Dreaming?

Not relating to actual superpowers, but I was curious to hear about what sort of superhuman feats or strange abilities other people have while dreaming?

I myself have a tendency to flying and jump very high in my dreams, as well as have a much greater amount of strength than normal.

(This is why I normally end up chasing my nightmares, rather than the other way around.)

Interesting. I rarely, if ever, have such experiences.

This post was updated on .
There were times I had lucid dreams where I realised that it was a dream.
And then I could somehow force the direction that the dream was heading.

Although it's not easy to keep control over it.  Because it's easy to wake up after that.
(but that's probably also why I remembered it afterwards)

So mostly I just limited the dream manipulation to gain the ability to hover quickly at high speed.

I get dream powers all the time, but I also rarely actually remember my dreams. The ones I do remember usually turn out good though. I don't think I quite am able to lucid dream, but I think I've convinced my subconscious to attempt to use superpowers at any opportunity.

I've Had:
Regeneration (When my fingers were cut off, which surprisingly wasn't that bad of a dream)
Flight
Leaping
Super Speed
Telekinesis
Teleportation
Invisibility / Hidden Presence
Maybe some sort of laser at one point.
Invulnerability
Time Stopping

I think I've become skilled at flying at this point.

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

I don't remember my dreams very well. There was one I had when I was a little kid where I was exploring this weird museum of everything and the tour group I was with floated through a room. It was the only room I remember now, and it was ocean themed so that explained the floating.

I've also awoken in the middle of the night to get screamed at by 2 separate faceless old woman, one old woman that had a face until she screamed at me, and what I can only describe as a kaleidoscopic butterfly nightmare. That one didn't scream, but I get the impression that it was visualizing sound as color. I also got grabbed by a hairy boogieman and we pulled one another back and forth before I punched him in the schnoz and went back to sleep. There was also this one thing with big eyes that was laying beside me, but I guessed she was harmless. Oh, and the bat thing I was convinced was living in my attic and watching me from inside the light-bulbs.

My house isn't haunted, I just suffer from sleep paralysis on a fairly consistent basis. But if it was a power, I'd say that they were all my familiars.

Typically, the ones I remember are either nightmares (in which I have no powers at all, and might instead be chased by some evil supernatural entity with powers) or they're fantasies come true (in which case, my wishes, such as living in a huge castle, or being surrounded by puppies, or some less *ahem* appropriate scenario happens, but I don't use powers to achieve them).

The only ones in which I have superpowers are the ones that have helped me dream up, and expand the world of Celadon.

I've had 5 dreams in which I was able to fly, or glide, at least.  The glide dream was fuzzy and general.  I can't recall much other than I could tilt my coat to manipulate my ascension and descent.

The other 4 were as vivid, specific,  and as real as any experience I've ever had awake.  I can remember smells, tactile sensations, different perspectives, and sounds to the Nth degree in each of them.  I've tried to document them in times past but it was too emotionally draining.

Those are the worst. You go out and have your whole day, and then when you get home to relax you wake up and have to redo the entire day.

They are indeed the worst, inasmuch as I have to face this boring, old reality that keeps me Earthbound upon waking.  Forgive me for this sentimentality,  but I feel as if I were destined to be unconstrained to terra firma.
