I can't help but wonder at the logic of Bo's defense.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Well, the guy's getting ready to blast him. He'll move.

I'm guessing this win goes to Wulf, but we should probably wait for Vault's decision before our heroes start knocking people out.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

@Dryad: Would it make you feel better if the forge only worked on already made artifacts?
The ability for a Divine Artifact to be used by multiple people is useful. It would actually allow some of the others to catch up in terms of power.

I can change it if either GV or Zale are not okay with it.

That would be preferable so long as it doesn't turn Artifacts into Divine Artifacts. And it doesn't give the Divine Combat bonus to them either.

It never made anything into Divine Artifacts to begin with
In fact, I haven't even used it on anything that wasn't a Divine Artifact to begin with anyways. What would it do that would be worth 12 motes if it didn't give a combat bonus. If everyone has access to the same type of Divine Artifact as the forge, then I don't see what the problem is. You could even upgrade, say your Heart of Gravity to give a passive bonus to nearby allies, and it would be the same thing.

I expected him to lose. He likes using flashy spells, which is quite wasteful energy wise.
Amalia is probably laughing to death now.

Do you have any of your heroes that you expect to make it to the next round?

I just realized that Wulf has a character in each of the very first three battles

Ah, but you never made that clear and it sounded like you were going to equip your whole pantheon with stuff reforged by the Forge... And I do have plans to upgrade the Heart of Magnetism and the Heart of Gravity, but not in that way. As for how I upgrade them, that's for me to know and you to find out.

Can I turn each of my heroes into my avatars also?
After the tournament, or maybe during since I don't think it would change their power level any. Also, if you're possessing an avatar, are you able to swap possessions into another avatar at a different location?

That actually went much better than expected, to be honest. I haven't exactly been reading up on you guys' heroes, and I thought Thram was some big musclebound dude.
Hope I didn't make the win too easy...

You can change which avatar you're possessing as a free action.
And yes, you can make your heroes avatars.

I was expecting Thram to win actually. Wulf's heroes seem to be at bottom tier at the moment since I don't know anything special about them yet.
Tier list: 1. Mine (I'm biased) 2. Dryad (Should be obvious) 3. Jester (Might be 2nd place level, but Dryad's are probably better plot-wise) 4. Zale (Seems to have good list of Heroes) 5. Marv (I have high expectations for his tech guy) 6. Wulf (Not enough info to think their power will be that high) Edit: Oops forgot to add in Zale

No, not to easy at all. The fact is, that fight was over just as soon as Bo reached Thram, the tension never ebbed, and Thram lost in a clearly logical way.
This fight also established that magic makes you tired. So, who wants to narrate the final blow? Wulf or Zale?
Hey son, wanna' learn how ta' make witch balls?

Well, Tyran the Strong has superhuman strength and durability (and the greatsword, Babaraina); Mina the Sly has superhuman agility and dexterity (and the twin tessen, Perincessai); Bo the Quick has superhuman speed and reflexes (and the bo staff, Victoraiyein); Zai the Thinker has superhuman intelligence and ingenuity (and the mace, Tereiein); Revei the Brave has the power of flight (and the mallet, Geranfeit'r).
My folks may not be the best, or the most advanced, but they're not half bad.
