No. Please no. I like reading Aphorism. I do NOT want to see a roleplay version of it. It's good as a manga, but I do not want to see a roleplay version of it, especially not with people who don't have Japanese as their native language. The whole manga revolves around the way that the Japanese knji and katakana go together and wordplays for Japanese words, not English ones. I request that this one never get started because of the given reasons.

And no, I do not know enough Japanese to help with wordplays. I only know enough to have basic conversations.

It wasn't just the wordplay, the words chosen were all written in kanji or katakana and those characters were then used to help determine the effects of what the students could do. Chinese could work as well, but I don't know much Chinese (Of any dialect) and no one else appears to have much use of those either on the SPL forums based on the posts you've all made. English, Spanish, and French as well as all the other languages that I know about don't use characters the way Japanese does and that doesn't help with the spirit of the roleplay that Jester appears to want. One similar to the manga Aphorism.

A solution can always be found; and until we determine otherwise, that a suitable solution is absolutely impossible, the RP is still up for discussion.

I know that I don't get the last say and that it's still up for discussion, but I will put up my opinion on whether or not I believe it should be started or not. That is something that I will do and I expect others to put up their opinions on any RP idea I happen to think of as well.

Alright, this'll only work if people actually read it.

Words, things which humans use to describe the workings of the universe in a way which can be easily understood. They are used to describe phenomena, some of which are beyond our very understanding. However, imagine, if instead of being used to describe the universe, Words could warp the very fabric of existence instead.

In this world words have become power, after a cataclysmic event several years ago the world was warped and the beings within it were warped as well, animals and plants are now fusions of they true nature and the words which describe them, science has become impossibly advanced and regressed simultaneously due to the laws of physics going entirely out of wack.

Humans, are a bit different, each one is born with two things. A name, and a word. The name describes the very essence of the human and their abilities, even altering the species itself in cases, and the word, is power, a special ability which they can tap into upon an utterance.

This story centralizes around a specific group of individuals who are taking part in a special experiment in order to create an elite group of individuals who can go into the world and discovery the mysteries that now exist within the Terra Verbum.
