Since everyones apparently incredibly affended by the comic I'm posting the number not the strip.
Welcome one and All to the Jesters Carnival, where the prizes are greater than your wildest dreams, but the nightmares here shall silence you before you can even scream.

Why would I hate that?

It's funny.

And that guy got what he deserved, so I'm good.

Oh, don't try to defend religion, the strip seems to do that itself. It's hilarious.

Hehehe...

I personally see no reason to find it offensive.

It's not, but the only one I think that would have said anything about its offensiveness would be me, seeing as how everybody else here seems to dislike/resent/fear/refrain from religion, or the discussion of religion.

And if I can look at the first panel, and not begin to twitch and go off into a doom-cloud summoning rant, then everybody else should be able to grin and bear it, too. That's all I'm saying...

Yeah, it's kinda funny, honestly.

I dislike the first panel, and the second panel is probably what bothered you, but it is fair in its analysis. Both sides are equally offensive, and thus neither can honestly complain.

Unless you're THAT kind of atheist.

Yeah. But I don't find it offensive either. It's just a comic, and either whoever wrote it holds that opinion, or they just made it up. If it's their opinion, I don't care, and if they made it up, it means nothing.

No my religion was the one being mocked.

and I believe the religion you just described is called Aethiesm.
Can I be offended by this? I'm not an Atheist but still..

Can I be offended on their behalf?

Why? No one else is...

And why do you always come in ready to defend the atheists? They have mouths and hands to plead their own case.

Not to mention, being agnostic, neither side really applies to you...

So I can't be annoyed when someone makes an inane, offensive and rarely correct statement about a group of people?

Yes, you certainly have the right to, but why on behalf of atheists?

No atheists said anything about it, and so who are you, a person NOT belonging to their school of thought, to speak on their behalf, especially as a whole culture?
