OOC:you might not realize this but the brownies are a great way to gater information, think about it, their house spirits, at least one of them exists in every structure known to man, and they hear everythin....and steal stuff but don't mention that to them.

Okay now to out line the main rules, whic I expect you to break as soon as you are able to within reason.

1. Violence of any nature is completely prohibited.

2. Use of magic without an imediate permit per spell is not alllowed, unless you are in an arena, or the magic area.

3. When crossing the path of another you much each spit on the gorund three times in opposite directions, the one who's spit reaches the ground first passes.

4. When shaking hands with another you must always cross your arms to form an X.

5. No haggling for prices, outside of the market area...and even then for no more so than three price alterations.

6. Flight higher than five feet of the ground is prohibitedd.

7. Destroying any personal property for any reason is prohibited.

etc. throw any any that you can think of as well.



Upon intrance we will be come into contact with brownies....basically imagine them as small skinny furry humanoids simliar to the fae, highest being no more than eleven inches at base level without shapeshifting. With shapeshifting they can increase their size to four feet, as well as grow wings for flight. Dressed informal attire.

not neccessarily usually I'm eight steps ahead but because of that I'm missing a bit of the stuff happening already, by the way what do you think of the laws, believe it or not all of them are actually neccessary to insure that brownies can actually coexist with each other in a society.....pretty much no ohter chaotic fairy/pixie has been able to do something like this before so this is actually a pretty advanced social structure to them.

as in one over the other with hands facing inward, disrupts the magical current betwen to creatures stopping any sort of energy drain or touch based curse. Trust me for them it's actually necessary.

Beyond the fact that I disagree with your interpretation of things, they seem nice.

Well think about it, the brownie race and faeries in general are an extremely mischevious species. Give them a chance to play a prank on a human and they'll do it, if you put them in a society long enough they'll eventually begin pranking each other leading to a constant spiral of revenge causing the entire city/village/race to dissolve into Chaos. Which is why several thousand rules have to be imposed....

This is what i'm thinking im going to have my character do but i want your opinion so it doesnt interfere with anything.

Going to have Girisha wait outside the portal since he has yet to memorize the laws. Using the homonculus as a radio, when trouble happens with the rest of the group he charges in to help thus breaking about every law.

Nope, your coming in to, their paranoid little things when they want to be, if all of us don't come in they'll think somethings up.....also id doesn't matter if you can't memorize all of the rules....no one has, theres an unmemorizable number of rules, seval hundred pages long............the homunculi were programmed with it before leaving though so they'll warn us if we're about to break one...or eighteen....at the same time.

I'm assuming that shadow is about to say something about how Dashai would have been able to memorize all of them due to him memorizing complex spells, and the high intelligence of Djinn, so I'll just say that if he has, I worry for his sanity. From what I've seen so far it seems like he would have a hard time dealling with the stupidity of the American legal system, now multiply that several hundred times in complexity and what would be seen as uselessness.
