Whew, it feels good to cross another RP off the Queue. Do y'all realize the last RP we finished, not including NB, was Elemental Planes...and that was back in November of 2012. 1 year and almost 2 months ago

We kinda suck at getting through things quickly...

Anyways, the slot for another RP has opened up and I can now brag on running two RPs...

I've decided to use a random generator to determine my character's personality.

This should be fun.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Sometimes, I get the feeling we'd get through more RPs if we focused on fewer at a time. Like, taking on too many lowers our ability to multitask.

Am I the only one who feels that way?

I feel that we would get through more rps if people actually posted in them.

Numerous rps don't slow us down if people forget to post in them for weeks.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Haven't the slightest clue who you could be referring to.

No, really, though, my main problem with posting, is primarily with trying to remember so many. And remember what's going on in all of them, and what progress has been made since my last post, and trying to still be somehow helpful in the midst of my getting lost.

Do you actually read the new posts as people put them?

Or do you try to read them all at once when you decide to post?

Or do you just try to jump in and post?

It depends on how I'm feeling. For the most part, it's some combination of the first two.

You should try to read all the posts as people make them, there usually aren't that many per day.

This will let you actually know what is going on and be able to post when you're ready. Its not too good to try to jump in and post when you haven't even check what is happening.

I try to check in little by little, sometimes. But not everyday do I get around to it. I'll see if I can't get back on the ball, though. It shouldn't be hard, after this Tuesday. By then, I'll have finished up this semester of school, and I'll have more free time on my hands.

No. No, it does not.

At least not lately. We haven't been getting through very many RPs.

Yeah, everybody's been sluggish to at least some degree. I'm trying to work on my own shortcomings, in both leading and following RPs here...

I'm changing the queue's title...its no longer a queue...

...its just a list. The order is irrelevant now.

They'll get their turns. The ones that aren't quite so important (AlphaBada**, The Prismatist, etc) we can do as one-shots.

"This... Might take a little explanation. The specific line we were playing in World of Darkness was Mage: The Ascension, basic premise being that reality only exists as is because people believe that's how it should work. Disagreeing hard enough with ~7 billion people on how the world fundamentally works allows you to do magic, and the type of disagreement you have flavors how and why you do magic ("mages" in this setting can run from the steampunk mad doctor using SCIENCE type, to the classic gandalf sort of wizard, and even to bleeding edge modernist soldiers/spies who use actual science).

My character was a lawyer who was forced to take an oath to not lie, and over the course of the campaign became more and more disillusioned with "magic" that he ended up deciding the spooky shit in the night was probably way too spooky for the normal person, and that hunting it all down for the benefit of the people would be the best way to go about things."

found this in a forum. I say we steal this and incorporate it into something.
