Basically if they can make tools orbuildings of any kind they are a race.

What is their normal behavior?

In that case their sentient creatures  while the endreakians remain a race.

Let's see, as for weeknessess there's the entire can't phasel thing, but that's through steel but that's about it I suppose, it would also mean that they can't hold non metal objects so there's that two.

Yeah, he means they can't phase through metal.

Yes they can be affected by steel, and slowed down by lighter metals like copper. The other downside of that is that they can phase directly through wood and othe ritems so they can't hold most tools.

But as a creature though they aren't smart enough to use tools in the first place.

Technically speaking, Creatures were meant to be individual things.

Like the Nemean Lion or the dragon Ladon.

If you want to go with "Creature" then just have a low culture/knowledge to compensate for the innate abilities.

Oh, I always thought that the creatures would be like a species, like unicorns or imps. Oh well.

Provided you make them have enough of a personality for me to easily differentiate from the others.

Because sometimes I forget which god is which with yours. Maybe you could do something in the story to help make them seem like individuals?
