I went on a week-long camping trip and forgot about Mali. I just made new characters

Ethan: one of the Um'shadar's enimys (can't remember the name)
he is hired by the vampire king to kill hero.

Teacher: Hero, Shadow, and Mali's teacher once they get to Apprentice Island.

pics coming soon

One more question, What is Apprentice Island like (in detail)

kinda medievalish...Imagine the game Runescape, but without the castles and palaces...if you've never played Runescape, think about maybe a fairly-well developed medieval town that you'd see in one of those corny movies...it has butcher's shops, markets, armories and blacksmiths, etc...

Dude if you were the only one with powers it would be badass!
If everyone else could create their own powers itd get really gay really fast everyone would have every awesome power and it would get really old walking into superman every 3 minutes or people trying to have super power fights with invincibility vs invincibility

I wouldn't think that you should be the ONLY one, because otherwise people would try to study you and figure out how to get powers of their own, anyway...instead, a chosen few with superhuman abilities (like our RP...one in five humans are superhuman...)

Though an awful lot of those one-in-five show up don't they...

I don't know that much about the RP world, but 1 in 5 is a HUGE number of people. Like absolutely gargantuan. As in, over a billion. I could walk down the street and pick up a soda at that gas station, and I would end up seeing at least seven or eight people.

yeah...it kinda justifies our groups inner character-creators...we can make plenty of supers without making the story "crowded"...and we're spacing them out so the story's not just super here, super there...

Re: Wouldnt it be cool if...

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. I was saying that 1/5 was a REALLY LARGE amount of people. If every one out of five people had superpowers, then in my city alone, there would be 70,000 super-powered people. World-wide, there would be over one billion.

Marvel has about 5,000 characters (http://marvel.com/company/index.htm). That would be about 1 in every 1,400,000 with superpowers.

meh...our world was affected a little differently than that of marvel. I don't think it would be very fun if only every other 1,400th person you see was a super.

A New Series

Myself
In reply to this post by Vespert
As some of you will know, I hope to create an Egyptian version of the MythPowers. However, I do not know what to call them. So, does anyone have any ideas? I think the name MythPowers may be a bit confusing at times. Then again, it might not, but I would still like to hear your ideas for names of powers.

Some of the gods/goddesses I have thought of ideas for include:
Ammut: Consumed souls of the dead unworthy of the afterlife.
Seth: God of chaos and destruction (could be interesting).
Ra: God of the sun.
Pharoah: The ancient Egyptians believed that the Pharoah controlled the flood, so you would have power of fertility, people and be able to change the amount of a given body of liquid water.
Thoth: God of writing and knowledge.
Bes: Brings happiness to the home and protects it from evil.
Hathor: Protector of fertility and childbirth.
Osiris: God of the underworld.

Re: A New Series

Well, it sounds like you pretty much have it under control. You have a pretty good handful to start off with.
How ever, if you are really interested, there are a few sites that are basically an Encyclopedia "all about" God's & Goddesses.
Somethings we cannot explain, neither should we provoke them.
