Surrogate Character - Blaine

I had an idea for a character using pan-dimensional self exchange and power based surrogates but that power combination made it too overpowered because he could have any power/body combination. I've thought about it and tried to put enough limitations on it, which ill list below, so that it is not overpowered. If you guys like my character or want to use it in the RP ill post more about its different surrogates. He wont be to overpowered though because Power based Surrogates only allows him to use one power at a time and i'm limiting him to only using non-overpowered powers on my list.

Skin Color, Eye Color, Hair Color- Varies

Species- Human from different dimension.

=Psychology=

Likes- Studying Superpowers, Playing chess whenever there is not something new to study, looking through things that dont belong to him.

Dislikes- Losing (sore loser), having to explain himself if people dont understand the first time, having to wait without something to entertain himself, Money - he has nothing against it he just doesnt use it.

Phobias- Death, not his own but others. Even if his worst enemy killed everyone he knew he would still do everything in his power to keep him from dieing. Under no circumstances would he kill anyone.

Personality- He is from an alternate dimension that was nearly destroyed, when it was nearly destroyed he was thrown into our dimension but lost all his memories (though he doesnt really care to get them back) except for math and sciences. He arrived in our dimension four years ago from the point where he joins the RP, during that time he wandered around exploring and getting used to the new dimension until he joins the other RP characters to help them.

He loves superpowers and he studies them as a hobby. He believes that any problem can be solved with whatever power he is currently using so he rarely changes bodies, in fact the other characters in the story wouldnt even know he could change bodies until he is almost killed (then you guys can decide when is the right time for him to change).

Since he can switch between genders he does not have a real strong attraction to either sex and would not think much of it if he saw someone naked. If he had to be attracted to a person though it would most likely be a female. He is not immune to love based powers, he just might be harder to manipulate since he does not naturally become attracted to people.

=Skills=

Knowledge- Wide knowledge of how to use Superpowers, Good in Math and can calculate in his head (not supergenius level though), and limited knowledge in various sciences that he uses to help him better understand powers.

Skills- Pretty good at Chess, Limited sneaking/lockpicking (he gets caught about as often as he is succesful), Some martial arts practice

Nonskills- Awkward with people most of the time if subject goes to something he isnt used too, bad with maps because he likes to wander.

=Superpowers!=

Power- Pan-Dimensional Self Exchange / Power Based Surrogates: His first power allows him to change himself into himself from a different dimension allowing him to have access to different powers. The second power lets him take one of the powers from the other dimension and create a new body to use the power effectively. If his surrogate is killed he can go into another surrogate but he surrogate and its power that was killed will not be available to him.
   
Weakness- He can be killed permanently without him going into another surrogate if he is killed several times within 24 hours. Also Soul based powers and attacks affect him through his surrogate.
   
Power Scale- 6, He is strong with his power but not overly strong.
   
Control Scale- 10, He is good at strategies, knows how to use his powers in unique ways, and can understand his opponents powers easily, all giving him a very good control over his power in different situations.

• This is my first RP character so if anything needs to be explained better or changed just tell me and if you guys approve ill start working on its power/bodies and posting them in this thread.
•• Also Since i dont consider myself a good RPer i give permission for another member to use my character as long as they dont add powers or change the personality.

Maybe he can be forced to only have access to few forms at a time-something like Ben 10 except he has this as his power not because of a watch.

This could be explained by his need to connect to his other forms from different dimensions and some sort of static that prevents him from reaching all forms at a given time.

Yeah i was trying to limit the switching of forms to often by making it that his personality didnt want to (he thinks he can solve the situation with whatever power he currently has and would be stubborn and not switch)

Him being unable to do more than a couple forms could also solve it but i dont really want to be that he cant ever switch to new forms later in the story (such as when his old forms get to beaten to use)

Ah, yes, a Jungian Shift; only changing to gain the abilities your mind subconsciously knows it needs at the time. You can do it at will, but the form can't be controlled, or can only be controlled from a certain set of predisposed powers (although the predisposed powers change over time). Very nice, if that's how you operate the ability.

Ok time for his first Surrogate, this would be the one the other characters would meet him in when he first joins the story.

=Appearance=

Height- 5'5"

Weight- 150 lbs.

Gender- Male

Chronological Age- Four years.

Biological Age- 18-21

Skin Color- White

Eye Color- Has red insect eyes (like a fly)

Hair Color- Gold hair with few strands of gray.

Species- Half-Insect Human

Other- He has a pair of green ant antenna on his forehead.

Clothes- He normally wears a gray sleeveless shirt with denim pants and plain shoes.

=Superpowers!=

Power- Bug Powers- He can have any power that a bug would have.

Sub Power- Increased Fitness- His strength, speed, and stamina are above average human level.

Sub Power- Hive mind- He creates Bee larva that he can cause to grow faster, He can then control the Bees with his mind for scouting and annoyance. Bees have very small amount of poison but can have nasty effects if many sting a single person.

Sub Power- Centipede Whips- He Grows a pair of Centipedes around both arms in the same way he makes the Bees. He uses the centipedes as a pair of whips and this is his main form of combat.
       Sub Sub Power- Centipede Claws- The legs of the centipedes end in sharp claws which allows him to cut through objects that he hits with his whips.

Sub Power- Exoskeleton- He grows an hard exoskeleton over his body that acts as an extra layer of protection. Takes a while to grow or regrow. Not impenetrable, just extra defense.
       Sub Sub Power- Thickened Armor- Causes Only one section of his exoskeleton to harden and thicken (mostly only one of his hands). This thickened layer is extremely durable and could be used to grab a cannon ball, or punch through a wall without harm to himself. Could be used to block many attacks as long as he is able to make the attack hit only the thickened part of the exoskeleton and not the normal parts of the exoskeleton.
       Sub Sub Power- Contact Acid- Produces acid like some insects can and coats his exoskeleton with it. Causes anyone who comes into physical contact with the exoskeleton to start to burn.

Second Surrogate, After he has been in the RP for  little bit something bad would happen to him, such as losing against a villain, and he would switch to this surrogate to flee the situation.

Skin Color- White

Eye Color- Yellow.

Hair Color- Black.

Species- Human

Other-  Tattoos of assorted constellations on both shoulders.

Clothes- Purple shirt with dark pants. Wears pink fishnets from hands to elbow and from feet to knees. No shoes.

=Superpowers!=

Power- Mind Projection- The ability to remove part of her spirit from her body and project it out to influence others or hurt them psychically. When her spirit leaves her body it looks like a pinkish aura of her own body.

Sub Power- Psychic Arms- Her main use of her power is to remove her spirit from her arms, thus making them go limp, to have two spirit arms that she psychically stretches out to harm those that the arms pass through or to reach inside people to affect their mind.

Sub Power-  Astral Form- She can completely leave her body, leaving it in a coma, and go out as an astral form. With this she can directly posses people. She can also turn invisible to those without psychic powers and can chose who she lets see her.

Third Surrogate, After the first two surrogates are used he would change to any of the still functioning Surrogates based on when you guys decide he needs to switch.

Weight- 75 lbs.

Gender- Male

Skin Color- Black

Eye Color- Brown.

Hair Color- Bald.

Species- Human  

Clothes- No shirt and he has metal gauntlets for his lightning powers. Rest of clothes are normal.

=Superpowers!=

Power- Weather Powers - Has different controls over the weather.

Sub Power- Nimbus cloud-  He creates a cloud and controls the air pressure to ride it. He can also send it out to places he can see to pick up items.

Sub Power-  Lighting bolts - Think Zeus but not with the force of an atomic bomb. He can zap people or just throw bolts of controlled strenghts. His main combat power if you dont count him constantly riding nimbus cloud.

Sub Power- Meditated downpore- He can meditate to create a continuous rain on an area that increases in force. He has to meditate for about an hour for the force to become strong enough to do severe damage. He is aware of his surroundings when meditating so still have to be stealthy to sneak up on him. If he stops meditating for a moment the rain completely stops.

Sub Power- Artic Wind- He can shoot out a burst of artic wind as a close range attack. It appears as a cone that he can use to freeze and repel things that are withing 4-6 feet. Mostly used as an defense against close range attacks.

Other- Human like except has larger skull/eyes/longer fingers.

Clothes-  Wears old traditional black mens chinese clothes.

=Superpowers!=

Power- Orbit- Has three self aware spheres that orbit him for his protection. The spheres can shrink so that they are unnoticeable or become the size of soccerballs.

Sub Power- Orbit 1 - Orb of Water. Can use any of the three states of H2O. Shoots
concussive blasts of H20.

Sub Power- Orbit 2- Orb of Metal. It is liquid metal. Can stretch out into spikes, shields, or claws but does not have same range as orb of water. Can hinder physical and electrical attacks.

Sub Power- Orbit 3- Orb of Light. Can blind Foes. Has limited healing properties. Can make only himself and orbs translucent when standing still and it works better in the dark. Changes colors when powers are near, normally yellow, to show the location of people. (note: doesnt make lasers).

Skin Color- Red with black cracks that make it look like stone even though its flesh.

Eye Color- Black.

Hair Color- Short, orange hair.

Species- Humanish but Unknown

Other- Visible Hardened Spine. Mouth like a sabertooth. Hardened bone extending from elbow.

Clothes-  Black leather vest and black pants, no shoes. Carries both Ipod and Harmonica (If broken would be fixed if he switches back to this surrogate later).

=Superpowers!=

Power- Hatred- Can focus his anger to increase his own strength at the cost of his mental powers. Music calms him down. Even if he is fully insane he wouldnt kill someone, in fact if he almost does the shock/paranoia would bring him out of the insanity.

Sub Power- Anger- Can make himself angry, increasing his physical strength, endurance, and speed. Increases the more wounded he is or if anything makes him mad.

Sub Power- Pain negation - While the power is active he feels no pain and can continue no matter the injury. He is still injured though its not invulnerability. When he calms down he would feel all the pain.

Sub Power- Insanity- If he takes enough damage he would go into a frenzy. While he wont kill anyone he could still turn on his teammates. He can create shockwaves with his fists while he is in this mode. He actively tries to advoid this while fighting (hit and run tactics so anger doesnt build up) and is able to most of the time.

nice...I hope he doesn't have TOO many (not to sound controlling, but about 10 should do it), otherwise, you kinda range to the Mary-Sue-ish (a type of form for EVERY situation...not that this would happen with YOU, but others have done it in the past)

Yeah i dont plan on making to many, ten would be ok, im only using powers i have obtained and not all of them are even good for this character. He can get stuck in a situration that might not be best for his current surrogate where he wont/cant switch. Also he can lose access to a certain surrogate for a period of time if they are defeated to often or to badly damaged.

Weight- 70 lbs.

Gender- Female

Chronological Age- Four years.

Biological Age- 90

Skin Color / Race -  Asian.

Eye Color- Grey

Hair Color- White, think Einstein.

Species- Human

Other- Looks old/weak but is not hunched over and can walk normally. Very thin and in most cases bones can be seen.

Clothes-  Ragged clothes, almost as if she was a beggar.

=Superpowers!=

Power- Summoning: Dante's Inferno - She can summon a demon for each of the seven deadly sins to fight for her and protect her. The demons have no mind of their own and she can control them as if they were her body. She can only have two summoned at any point though. If the demons are destroyed she must wait till the next full moon to resummon them. To summon she must be able to remain completely still for a couple moments.

Sub Power- Wrath- A mini titan. No taller than a persons knee. He posses incredible physical strength and stamina. His skin is made of metal and he bleeds magma.

Sub Power- Envy- A mutated wasp, about the size of a persons head. Its belly is clear and filled with green venom and it has an over sized stinger. It can attach to a person where it will start to exchange the persons blood with its venom, which causes insanity (mostly in the form of envy). It can sting people as well but this is less effective and spray people with the venom which is the least effective means of driving people insane. Very hard to hit this demon.

Sub Power- Greed- A demon with the body of a dog and the head of an alligator. He has a golden mane and can projectile vomit molten gold. Waist height.

Sub Power-  Lust- A woman with no eyes. She wears black clothes that seem to change design every time you look. She can produce tentacles from beneath her skin to slice enemies.

Sub Power- Pride- A clay giant with a bronze crown. If his crown breaks he dies if not he can reconstruct himself. His main strength is his incredible size which he can increase at will. His hands can be made into basic smashing weapons.

Sub Power- Gluttony- A three headed pig that can walk like a human and is incredibly fat. Each head can spit up a different thing. Flames, acid, and saliva which is extremely sticky and can trap people. Not the same range as greed, more like in a small area around him. His fat makes him not feel pain though he is still hurt.

Sub Power- Sloth- A normal looking sloth. Can move at walking speed. Can teleport himself and objects he is touching.

Sub Power- Sacrifice- She can sacrifice a demon, killing it, so that she can negate any damage done to her body, even death. Only works if the demon is already summoned.

Other- Blind, better than average hearing.

Clothes-  She is always wearing her power suite, no normal clothes.

=Superpowers!=

Power- Mech Summoning- She can summon and modify her mech suits.

Sub Power- Power suit- Her suit, that she always wears, is capable of manipulating sound to compensate for her being blind. While in the suit she can see the vibrations of objects effectively letting her see.  She can modify her suit, changing its shape, to give her different sound based devices. The suit is vulnerable while it is being modified and can be more easily damaged or have the modification stopped.

Sub Power- Satelites- She summon and eject small satelites from her suit.  The satelites have the power to redirect sound waves that pass through them. She can fire sound blasts at them to have the direction of the blast change to hit around corners, or reverse sound powers of her foes.

Sub Power- Mech Jet- Can morph into a form of personal jet. She lays inside it and it is just slightly larger than her body. The jet has some defensive capabilities by using sound waves to repel attacks but it does not have much offensive power. Can travel at extreme speeds.
