Do we get any powers?
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

I think so. I'm assuming the gist is MOST of our powers are gone, but not all of them.

Sure you'd have powers.. just not to the extent your character is used to them.

Some of them would have to learn to walk again, rather than just hover around. It'd be interesting to see them practically screaming with frustration at having to do things the mundane way.

"A BUS?! You expect me to ride a BUS?! I was once so mighty that entire planets trembled before me. Whole species lived their lives to please me, to keep me from growing bored and annihilating them with a causal wave of my hand! AND YOU EXPECT ME TO TRAVEL ON SOME MERE BUS!?"

Oh, I could just imagine it...

"WHAT? You must have forgotten! Tis I, the $^#*%! Penultimate!

I will rain down cataclysm, flood upon you unending terror, amass all the deepest, darkest of your nightmares and make you wish you were never BORN!"

*rant rant rant for several more hours about how terrible my wrath is and how screwed you are to have trifled with the likes of me*

"But...but sir, I just wanted to know if you wanted paper or plastic!"

So, I wanted to talk about the Miscreant and Core User RPs we thought of earlier.

Talk away.

While I doubt we will ever go through with them it is a fun Idea I'd like explore in the way of both character creation and story. Purely for fun of course.

I'm always interested.

Ok.

What kind of characters would they be?

Well, I've no idea about the core users...its not my thing. However, the miscreants are rather straight forward. One material to control, flight and immortality..

...other stuff is debatable.

What do they look like?

What is their culture like?

Why do they have their powers?

What personality traits do most share?

Mostly human with earth-like features...if that makes sense.

Their culture is best explained as a very large collaboration. They're very close knit and help everyone out. Building are built by everyone. Supplies are shared amongst everyone.

Their powers come from the meteor (explained in my back story)

They are mostly diverse in terms of personality, though most are friendly.

Anything on the Core RP that anyone wants to discuss?
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Sure.

Tell me everything about the setting.

Where I'm thinking of starting it at the moment is a large dessert city. The climate would be more of average though, and there would be trees growing through the sand. The city has relatively good tech and is run by a king type figure.

The people are equivalent to human for the most part.

The world is Aeon, do you know about it?

Yes you did.
