Oh, hey, and what do you guys think about a horror RP? It would be a series similar to New Beginning, except not as random; it would be more storylike. Each of us could take turns GMing a thread, and deciding what the plot is, but overall, it would be nothing but a string of horror stories.

Anything from killers, to ghosts and monsters, to demonic possession.

Some people can even volunteer to be the antagonist monster/killer/demon/spirit/thing, or the like. Each one is left entirely to the creativity of whoever is currently GMing.

So...what do you guys think?

So, um, maybe I should move this to the RP Creator thread (or a new thread), but what do you guys think? I brought up the Horror RP the other day; anybody interested in it?

Not really a fan of horrors. I tend to actually scream watching those, not fake scream for the fun of it, I actually give out a real scream because I get frightened. That's with both movies AND books, so it would be worse for me to try roleplaying it. The others could have their opinions, I won't join in though.

That's fine, either role is fine. I just want some folks to be interested in participating, because I think we could come up with some interesting stuff. Especially if we collaborate on the backstory, plot development and such.

I don't know about Savior, but horrors just scare me too much. I never want to actually end up in a scary situation like the ones described or shown in horrors and I always imagine myself in the character's position when watching/reading a horror, which probablyy makes it worse. And it doesn't help that the last horror I watched was one my classmates made and they used my name for one of the characters (though slightly altered, they changed an 'i' to and 'a').

BTW can't the E-S theory on autism explain a little bit about this? Since girls tend to be more on the E end and guys on the S end?

 Um, no, actually, I'd rank myself more near the E end, if I were autistic. I'm pretty emotionally sensitive, empathic to others' feelings and opinions and philosophies, and I tend to be at least a decent listener. I'm actually a very strange mix of the two, now that I think of it. I use a systematic approach to organize, categorize and deal with my emotions and feelings.

That, and the fact that I am an esoteric person in general, spiritual/religious (Christian) and bold in things that I am familiar with, resulted in my inability to be scared by most horror that I've seen or read to date. At most, it's a good startle, but otherwise, nothing beyond entertainment.

Then again, I am not autistic. Are you?

I don't see how you think I'm a golem. I have none of the golem characteristic other than stoney skin.

I'm not. I mentioned E-S theory, because it says girls tend to be more onthe E side, a guys on the S-side, and it puts autism as being on the S-side, which would put it far away from girls,but I was actually trying to use it to say girls are more empathic than guys. Did you actually read up on it or skim a few articles? My teacher had as do a full unit on autism and the E-S theory is one thing we had to read up on.
