Possible JJBA RP?

I know that we all have several RP's going on right now but maybe you can give mines a try?

Some background for those the don't know what JJBA is:


JJBA or Jojo's Bizzare Adventure is a manga where the characters(the main and villains) have stands which are psychic? constructs that can only be seen by other stand users.--They act as a guardian to their users

Each stand has unique------I mean really unique abilities.

One of the stands was the ability to make zippers. and another was to turn people into snails via subliminal messaging

It really lives up the name of Bizzare.

Damage done to the stand is also inflicted to the user---only another stand can hurt a stand(most of the time--some exceptions)---and some stands don't transfer damage

And each stand(after part 3) was named after a song.---preferrably an old song

Unlike some other manga the characters are made to be somewhat intelligent----and not complete idiots that charge at each other.....ie creative strategic battles where the goal is to find the other guy or find the guy's weakness or escape vs. keep hitting each other till the strongest wins.

Usually after they find the guy's weakness they come up with creative uses of their own power to counteract it.

For example to defeat a guy who had a barrier of absolute zero the guy who had the ability to control his bullets shot specifically at the weak point on the guy's neck

Alternatively the characters with the "stronger" powers can just lay a barrage of fists/machine gun fire after they find the other guy

People gain stands through exposure to a meteorite shaped like an arrow

Stands are classified like this

Stand Name:
User:
Power: How strong is it physically?--not the same as ability
Speed: How fast is it physically?--again not the same as ability
Range: How far can it act away from user----usually stronger stands have less range
Staying: How durable is the stand?---How much damage can it withstand before the damage gets relayed to the user
Precision: How skilled is the stand--by itself----Low precision stands are usually more powerful and need people to direct their movements
Learning: What is the capability of the stand
Ability: What its ability is------bonus points if the ability is bizzare
Appearance: What does it look like is it humanoid? is it a gun? Does it look like an animal or a watch?

Example stand:

Stand Name: Yellow Submarine(Beatles song)
User: Jonah Viagio
Power: B (Able to move furniture around easily in humanoid form)---Note D is about human strength
Speed: B (Low supersonic speed)
Range: C(7 feet away from him is the limit)
Staying: B(Can be damaged by things that can pierce its metal armor)
Precision: C(Will carry out orders to the best of ability
Learning: B(Ample room for development)
Ability: Yellow Submarine has the ability to detect objects with sonar and has a periscopic sonar vision---it also attacks with sound able to emit frequencies that hurt the human ear or enrage animals to attack and can fire concentrated sound blasts(torpedoes) as concussive weapons
Appearance:Humanoid/Subarine-- Looks like a Navy Seal with aquatic apparatus except eyes are replaced with telescopic lenses and has a periscope on head the legs have been replaced by a submarine lower body. The whole body is yellow colored and two propellers are on the back. It was arms that have bulbs on them that open up to fire concentrated sound torpedoes

 I think it died because I suddenly lost internet access, for some weeks. When I returned, I think the story just lost interest.

I doubt it was much beyond that.

See? I told you a trip down Memory Lane with the threads might be fun. I do that all the time, and find material that's still useable, even today.

 Lots of Jester's idea's are good. Some just need fleshing out, like Warriors of Myth, which apparently, I inspired of him (from when I was trying to do the Prison Realms RP, if memory serves)...

 It needed more detail, as to geography, Factions and things like that. The concept itself was sound, it just needed more planning as far as how the story would go.

the plannings all done actually had been for a while, and it was the pokemon rp not the prison rp, the factions are all planned out, as well as the events for about thirteen monsters, and a kind of side tangent adventure with a doomsday cult.

 Yeah, sorry, I was planning each of those around the same time, my memory confused them.

Though, if you feel they're ready to run, I don't personally see why a couple can't be run as soon as a couple others finish up. I may not join them all, but that doesn't mean that others wouldn't be interested.

Really, I personally recommend that others go looking through the extended version of the RP section, too. It's fun to re-hatch old ideas we've forgotten. And hopefully, with new people on the forum, we can bring new ideas to them, so they have greater chance for success than they would have in the past.

We move things around on the Queue all the time. The Queue reflects guidelines we set for ourselves, but I'm sure you know by now, that the Queue does not determine our course of action.

After all the times we've told you that's not how the Queue works, how do you still not get it? The Queue is an organizing tool so we don;t lose track of RPs. It is not a governing force unless you make it.

I've said many times that you should restart Warriors of Myth, I think it was a great RP.
