Um...a great deal of these goofy powers are posted is purely for fun or for laughs. They probably know that no one will pick them, but just knowing that they made it to the list, despite its limited capacity, or extremely specified kinesis power, or total absurdity/uselessness makes it all the more fun to make. It's like going up to a very serious guard at Buckingham Palace and scribbling on his face, knowing that he will not respond. It's immature, of course, but I imagine it's alkso fun.

Oh, yeah, and "tenacity, weaselpudge-powers, despite, inadiquate", you owe me a nice review on each and every superpower page; make sure you say something especially nice about the MythPowers, lol

You sure have a strict guideline for superpowers, don't you? ;) They're simply made more fun, they aren't anything special, they just have a sense of humor to them.. And a response to your big words: tenacity, weasel-pudge powers, and inadiquate. It's spelled 'inadequate', just ta let ya know :)

I discern the absence of a capacity for jocularity in you. I find those words quite insufficient in length, as such I am quite unimpressed by their usage. My sage advise is the employment of a thesaurus if one desires to impress others with words of extreme length.

Joking, Joking. I like the levity.

You submitted the power to turn 667 into a hamster, didn't you?

667 is the least smug non-hamster I've encountered in a while; he's among the most rominent posters on this site, he's really smart and he's very easy to work with...what events could have possibly transpired to arouse this false-alarm detection of smuggitude?

(I joke, I joke, I kid, I kid ; but seriously, what did he do to make you think of him as being smug?)

@Zale, I agee, we need some jokey type abilities on this site; if not, the internet world would classify those who post here as weird, glasses-wearing, pimple-faced, germophobic, anal-retentive, uber-geeky constituents of a girlfriend-less, basement dwelling, dungeons-and-dragons-playing nerd hive-mind incapable of any other mental endeavors than the pursuit of pseudoscientifical hypotheses, over-logicked logic on logic that defies logic, and capabilities worthy of WoW/Runescape/Marvel Comics/DC comics. The thought of more jokable abilities alongside the more logical ones shows that we are normal folks, who just happen to be a LITTLE bit nerdy. It all works out, hehe...

BTW: @Bug, since this thread is about dumb powers, can we discuss the utter lameness, lameitude and lame-osity of Aquaman? I would like to discuss it at length; to do so would make me happy... please think it over. Thanks in advance

Re: Plain dumb powers

As king of Atlantis, he really could've been given much better powers. A sonar-like communication with fish that allows him to command them, and an amphibious physiology, and enhanced stats like strength and durability...C'MON! First of all, nearly EVERYBODY on the Justice league had superstrength, so that only barely contributed to the muscle of the team. But then, on top of that, so many water-based abilities were and are available to make him a substantially better  He could've had the ability to shapeshift into the various aquatic species that he commands (perhaps even a merman form), or control water, or become water, or walk on water, or project his sight to anywhere submerged in water (a la MythPower: Ocean/Tethys Power), or take on an amphibious appearance that allows him to survive on the land indefinitely without diminishing strength, or the power to become invisible underwater, or to have water enhance his strength or other stats. He could even have a magic satchel allowing him to channel the waters of the sea through it (to flood, to manipulate via Hydrokinesis, to relieve flood waters, etc.)...hell, it took me less than five minutes to think of all that, and DC couldn't come up with it in over 50 years?

I have to say that the water hand must've been the second highlight on the list of his abilities.

And I know you told me not to, but I gotta...HOW did Aquaman encounter the Lady of the Lake, a being from Arthurian legend???

I don't like when ANY hero diverts into myth and folklore; they always screw it up somehow, just so they can fit it into their comics (that annoys me even more than the shallow superpower selection comic series choose from...flight, superstrength, teleportation, telekinesis, telepathy, blah, blah, blah)

And I doubt the Aquaman did anything to change my opinion on the use of such material. It's just plain annoying to us myth buffs when they do that crap...

yeah, but the character was based on a mythical character (in fact, a god), so that would be expected; I just hate crap that happens like when the X-men encountered the Valkyries...what the hell does genetic engineering, genetic mutation and faction forming within the human race have to do with the frickin VALKYRIES of NORSE MYTH???

See what I'm saying?
