pe·nul·ti·mate
[pi-nuhl-tuh-mit]–adjective 1. next to the last: the penultimate scene of the play.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

Site's version, I am a reality bender, but with most power coming from channeling the Greek pantheon. Original means I have free-wheeling power all by myself (so to speak, hehe, still Christian), and can bend reality to even the slightest of my thoughts.
The two concepts are similar but not exactly the same...

I'm perfectly aware of it's meaning. And I picked the word for a reason.

So whats the reason

Because my reign comes before the final act of Celadon.
When I go, it was prophesied that I am succeeded by an evil ruler who will plunge the place into darkness. Gaugamon mourning my demise, combined with the overall wickedness of the new ruler will cause him to annihilate the planet.

I see so your fate is to be killled by an evil maniacal idiot who will be in turn destroyed along with the rest of your planet by your super powered lap dog.

No, I die of natural causes. My heir will be somehow tricked out of his/her rightful place, and have the throne usurped by some maniacal, diabolical supervillain the likes of which the world has never seen. Gaugamon, to prevent the monstrous destruction this new baddie is capable of, will destroy everything so that the good can go on to the blessed afterlife, and the bad can go...where bad people go.
In effect, he balances the forces of good an evil again, while distributing to the people exactly what reward or punishment they deserve.

Very cool. Maybe the theme could be a particular planet, in which none of us has a distinct advantage. (Hmmm, I should probably absorb my heroes too...though I'll ask first, they tend to get touchy about that...)

Time to get back to studying the Book of Celadon.
Here, Gaugamon! Here, boy! Here, Kitty of Doom! Here, Cosms! Here, Gullets! Time to help me train up my MythPowers (and then, I'll be temporarily absorbing you all, thank you very much...)

Oh, so we're all calling our creations back into ourselves for a boost in power eh? In that case "Return." I'm going to be spending the rest of the remaining time training with my master okay then.
