Heading down the path the MonsterKing discovered, we come across more doors, leading to things like a kitchen and library. "We must be close to something."

A noise behind me catches my attention.

....sorry to bother you in your search, bu I think this guy's Lasagnia is coming to life. I say this as A wave of tentacles come out of a pan fromt he kitchen refrigerator.

"Once you guys are done beating the tar out of those Beholdes, I think I may hav found something important in Mag's journal." I say as I slip the journal into my pocket and resume smacking around the Beholders.

I'll get tentacles 7 - 14 if you take the right side.

"I wonder what would happen if I poked something while moving at near-light speed?"

I finally just get annoyed at all this battle and send a giant blast of energy outwards to kill and/or knock back anything unfriendly it hits.

"It probably won't kill all of them, just get them out of the way." I then sense a source of power nearby that could be Mag, or Mal, I really don't care at this point, and create a huge tunnel towards it. I begin to walk through, and motion for the others to follow.

[Zaleramancer]

"I could have totally done that." I say as I follow, book in hand.

"THAT WAS SOOOO MUCH FUN!" My shadow shouts ecstatically. ".... Can I keep an eye? They do such neat things!"

"...."

"Fine. Meanie." She says.

Monser king: "Looks up from ripping apart tentacles, as shadow constructs begin feasting on them," ..I'm sorry what were you talking about.?

Not that it matters since the caves are still shifting. It may interest you to know that Mag left behind some clues on how to navigate the caves in his journal.

Just keep doing what you're doing  I say as I initiate several detonations on the creature.

I could hold them in place. I have Ultimate Earth Mastery, or whatever its called.

You couldn't hold them in place...they aren't natural caves...obviously.

Aim for the tomatoes, I think those are it's weak points.

But are they made of rock?

"Mag's journal speaks of some form of code that is used to "control" the caves' shifting pattern. It looks like it may be some form of morse code. Maybe, we're supposed to hit the floor or something?"

Monsterking:.......Hold on for a second then. "reaches into an interdimensional pocket and pulls out a golden ball of thread." i picked this up while I was exploring the greko roman era.

Black orbs slip inside a couple of the tomatoes and then explode.
